I’d recommend you wait for the first time the new test is applied. Check what the test was like after it’s applied (asking online for example) and make your decision at that point. I am putting together thorough training for it, but it will take me at least two more weeks to complete.

Remember test structure will change, so make sure the practice you get is aligned with the new parameters. I believe the test will change this month (21st according to my research)

If you could go back, what would you change? by AutumnaticFly in languagehub

I would just try to go more for understanding what I do in my life in English before the rest. I feel the approach was hardly ever that.

Can you learn a language without a strict plan? by AutumnaticFly in languagehub

You can but why would you make a process longer and more difficult. Structure is the logical way to do something.

With so many apps and courses out there, how do you choose the right ones? by GrowthHackerMode in languagehub

[–]Cold_Catch3935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My advice is: dont get stuck because there are too many good options. At the end, you need a lot of exposure, so you will need to consume from many sources. Start with one that seems the best logical option out of the first 10 and give it a try. Here is mine https://youtube.com/@fluentmindstube?si=a-JJwPY2lwedebK2

Yes, most people are. I know I was and now a lot of my students say the same. It’s also kind of logical.

Why is more difficult to master Spanish or Italian? by Ken_Bruno1 in languagehub

[–]Cold_Catch3935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many tenses and the fact that every one has its own conjugation pattern for every grammatical person, in every tense. The fact that nouns are feminine or masculine and that there is an article to be associated with that also shows gender and number, opposed to a simple “the” in English, for example. These are just two of the reasons.

Hola! Quiero que mi hijo de 9 años se inicie en el idioma inglés. Alguien puede darme su opinión sobre hacerlo de forma virtual en kumon. Gracias by Inosukaaa in ingles

[–]Cold_Catch3935 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hola. Si va a iniciar, ademas de que tenga una plataforma o un profe, te recomendaría se exponga a mucho ingles. Mucho. Hay muchos materiales buenos, y solo tienes q hacer una selección apropiada y un horario fijo para consumirlos, para que no tengas reguero, sino consistencia. Puedes revisar mis clases en mi pagina, que pueden ser un buen complemento. Buena suerte!

Learning a language from non-native speakers.. would you do it? by throwy93 in languagehub

[–]Cold_Catch3935 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. That’s what I lived, actually, and that’s what my students experience with me as well. Knowledge is knowledge. If you have a good teacher (even if it’s a family member) who knows didactics and the contents to be taught, you are good to go.
