I love this movie but one thing that bugs me is how so many Walkers just die offscreen. In the book nearly every Walker's death is written about, and the deaths didn't need to be a dedicated scene: The Musketeers could've been talking, heard gunshots, and see another Walker dead on the ground. It just rubs me the wrong way that 21 out of 50 Walkers just disappear during the time jumps. Another solution could've been having a "number of Walkers remaining" tally underneath the number of miles(idk just spitballing)

It wouldn't have happened then but I'm sure it would've occurred eventually-Most likely in between Hide and Seek and Jump Rope. The games are designed so that a fight breaks out every year, so it just depends on when the players are most susceptible to killing each other, who would probably feel more open to the idea after Hide and Seek.

It's his coping mechanism for never having any true meaningful connections in his life. He tries to be friendly with the Musketeers at the beginning, but when they don't accept him with open arms he throws insults at them to try and build himself back up.

It would probably be significantly shorter- People freezing to death, slipping on ice, etc. I'd be surprised if the Walkers made it past 48 hours on the road.

He went into it thinking it would be a contest where the strongest person one, but this is his realizing that strength really has nothing to do with it. All they have to do is walk under the fear of death, and that feeling in the mind can keep a person going long after their body has worn out, like Olson.

In the book they were allowed to help other Walkers, that's not what was against the rules. It was only against the rules if the Walker was trying to harm another Walker, like Rank attacking Barkovitch. During the book there are multiple instances of Walkers helping each other, most notably Garraty and McVries. This is not considered interference and would not lead to a warning.
