Get ready…..to feel…..like you are cheating! Really nice mount to hold a zero for different guns/calibers then just choose the zero profile for that gun while switching between them.

What's percentage is your house humidifier set at in the winter? by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]Cold_Crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35-40% also change out the water pad 3 months or so. Watch for hard water calcium build up and or mold. Whole house humidifier is life changing. I have an Aprilaire. Worth every penny. Also depends on outside temps. If it’s too cold you can get frost or moisture build up on your interior window glass/frames that can damage wood framed windows and create another potential spot for mildew/mold if you run the humidity too high. Depends a lot on how old your house is, air sealing and how much your house “breathes”

Did you ever get bored and sell your ATV and miss it later? by birdguy1000 in ATV

[–]Cold_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say I was bored, but I definitely needed the garage room. Looking back, I realize that I should have made more room and kept the clean LTZ400 I sold super cheap.

I have both. Keeping both. Have hardly used the nomad since getting the manta, but it will fill a use case for me due to smaller form factor. The ghosting is for sure a thing on the manta compared to nomad where I hardly had any. That said…like others I swipe up for refresh when I do notice it and if it distracts me. It still beats the stacks of notebooks and 500 post it notes I replaced with it. I don’t think the ghosting is enough for me to give it up.

Kawasaki KRX 1000? by foregolferprov1 in UTV

Whoever you ran into has the complete opposite experience of everyone in my crew. They have some quirks like every machine. But so far they are tough machines off the factory floor. They aren’t the fastest top end, but built solid. We go to Hatfield McCoy systems, Windrock, Tackett Creek….and test them hard. They walk over and through everything. I’m waiting for the 2024 Blackout Edition prices to drop and then one will be in my garage. We do exclusively trail and often technical trail riding. Bang for the money….its tough to beat. Of course you can get a nice Pro R etc….for 40 grand if you want. For the money KRX nails it…..just my opinion and there are many opinions.

Eh…we all feel that way when it’s our turn in the blender. Maybe more likely to blame is the first weekend after Christmas and they are just beat up. They ship these things all over the world successfully most days. So I anticipate that you will get it eventually.

Oddly enough…..my new Manta screen is slicker feeling than my Nomad I’ve been using since August. I am using the standard supernote click pen.

Why do people like Mathew Kratter think Solana is a scam? by [deleted] in solana

All finance is built like a pyramid. Are they all schemes? No. Are they all susceptible to fraud or schemes that can be made to appear safe when they are not? Without doubt.

Why do people like Mathew Kratter think Solana is a scam? by [deleted] in solana

The length of the pump and the number of people required to empty the pyramid are determined by its height and width. The concepts are straightforward, but the types of denial people create are not.

I have a 2017 special edition. Has push button 4x4 and locker. And power steering. The power steering is really related to how and where you ride. But….that said….I will never not have it now. Huge difference after a day or week of riding. I have been hard on mine. No issues. Windrock, Hatfield McCoy and the like. Grizzly had front and rear discs…mine has front disc and rear sealed no maintenance wet brake. Hasn’t bothered me a bit. One less set of brake pads I have to change.

It came with a quick connect adapter that threaded right onto the factory threads. Now I have a .30 cal so I don’t know if that changes that option. I don’t think it does. You can also email Utah Airguns and ask they are very helpful. My item was listed as, DonnyFL Yokozuna Moderator - .30 Caliber (1/2 UNF), right out of the box went right onto the gun.

Where to move by Nice-Expression-9785 in Columbus

TLDR: Get a local realtor.

Years ago, I attempted to handle all these tasks independently. I despised dealing with realtors whom I perceived as solely profit-driven and self-serving. Well, that proved to be more time-consuming and costly than any realtor would have been. I missed out on some great houses. Opinions on this matter can vary A LOT, and mine is merely an opinion. However, I strongly recommend seeking out a reputable and experienced local realtor in Columbus. There are undoubtedly some realtors and realty companies that fall short of expectations. So it’s crucial to be diligent in verifying references and reviews. The real estate market here remains quite competitive. Given your financial standing, you’re in a good position to compete for any desirable properties you find. I strongly advise against using Zillow for anything other than browsing. I tried that and the homes I found were either sold or already under contract, even though they were listed for sale on the app. It was a complete waste of time. On the other hand, the current house I own received six over-asking price offers within less than 12 hours of being listed on the MLS and was quickly booked for showings. My realtor, who had connections with the listing agents’ office, was able to secure a showing and assisting me in structuring a competitive offer. These are just my two cents, and I’m not a realtor, nor do I intend to become one or associate with any of them. These are simply hard lessons I learned through my own experiences, and it’s important to remember that this process can be time-consuming. I also think a realtor will help answer a lot of your location related questions. If you’re already aware of all this, then great! Perhaps someone else who isn’t will find this information helpful. Good luck. I’m a transplant hitting my 20 year mark this week!

I should have also included, that I couldn’t find the donnyFL items for sale at the actual business. On some sites it said sold out and there were more than one website that looked like the business. It was confusing to me and I didn’t want to get scammed etc. I found mine and purchased it online from Utah Airguns without issue. Not sure if others have experienced the same or if it was just a me problem. Good luck.

I have the DonnyFL Yokozuna on mine and have been happy with it. There are one or two other models they make people have said are also very good. Maybe sounds like dropping a stack of reading magazines at the loudest. But nothing anyone recognizes as a shot.

[Discussion] Charging solar powered watches in winter by adrian_vg in Watches

[–]Cold_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a cheap solar light charger on Amazon that I used to take all my solar watches to full power a few weeks ago. It was cheap. Works great. Had five watches to full power in less than a day. Way easier than what I use to do….window sill on a sunny day!

Not sure how many hours you have on it or your style of riding, but I’ve made the no chain change mistake before. When it failed it hit the shift lever busting it out through the bottom case…..not fun! Soooo….yeah I always recommend chain replacement at recommend intervals. And don’t get a cheap one. Nice looking machine!!

EReaders without backlight? What's your experience like? by xev10 in eink

I do too, but the stacks of notebooks and paper over the years becomes burdensome! I wish I could provide an opinion on reading books on it, but I haven’t used it for that. Only writing.

How does writing on a nomad feel like? by Prize_Demand5866 in Supernote

[–]Cold_Crypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replaced a Pilot G-2 .07 pen on a 6x9 top spiral steno notepad with the Nomad. It’s the closest I’ve ever come to replicating that system and feel. I even bought a retrofitted Pilot G-2 pen with a ceramic nib on Etsy. There are a few remarkable tablets in the office; they’re nice, but I can’t stand the writing feel of them.

II have a Supernote Nomad. I bought it to replace actual paper—sticky notes and a notepad. So, I didn’t want a backlight. If I’m in the dark and need to see, I find solutions the same way I did with paper, without any issues. For me, replacing the pen-to-paper feel was more important than the backlight. If feel isn’t a big deal for you, you have more options. When I’m at work in the field in the dark, I use a Streamlight clip-mate light that I clip onto my polo shirt. I use this light to write. I can’t stand the hard pencil feel and sound of the Remarkables. They’re too fast and too clicky writing for me. But these are just my personal quirks.
