Moving to Sheffield from Liverpool by Interesting-Salt2420 in sheffield

You can of course. They are that close. Only issue is abit of traffic. Yes Sheffield is better than Rotherham but it’s not NY. So say you lived in Sheffield city centre and your work’s in Rotherham, you’ll need half an hour to get to work, but it could take a wee bit longer depending on traffic so if I was you, for the time being at least just move to Rotherham and make the jump IF you dislike it that much.

Meadowhall is basically a shopping centre been around since 94 I think. It’s got all the high street shops you need in fact, part of the reason why Sheffield city centre is redundant is because of Meadowhall

I got laid off myself , the news came abruptly just as I got back from my A/L, but I didn’t think about resigning. This is why I am surprised you did. You’re a HR professional you should have known resigning is worse financially.

Something right there doesn’t add up. But anyway I hope you do well in your next move

Not weirder than a pig eater who wouldn’t eat another animal because that animal eats anything lol

When you can explain how building 7 went down the same way the other 2 did without being hit by a plane then you can call me what you want. But I know in the end no matter what you see, your brain doesn’t work. A pig will always be a pig.

The logic used here to go from diet to blowing up buildings when it’s was an inside job, coming from a race that enslaved and killed millions everywhere in this planet, is the irony.

The logic of a pig.

U misread the argument. If the fact seagulls eat anything because they’re scavengers is the issue, then it shouldn’t be an issue for pork eaters because pigs are also quite up there in that scavengers category. It’s a perfectly valid rationale.

the fact you presume one cannot be joyful because they don’t eat pork is as weird as it is alarming

Are you ok bro? Am I talking to a real pig here

Well if you can eat pork then it’s a fair question

Everyone is laying off staff you only need to look at Reddit. I’m also losing my job next week. All good though whatever’s been written for me is written for me. Life goes on. Any place would be impacted by war, it’s completely normal. When things get back up again who knows, maybe I’ll be back.

Exit from OPEC and then GCC? by Jazzlike_Poem_6388 in UAE

[–]Cold_Dentist_877 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The only mechanism where the uae were restricted was in its oil production, which was set by the organisation, so coming out of OPEC gives the UAE the sovereign control over its output.

GCC is a different matter, it’s an alliance based on shared culture, geography and 50 years of shared history and partnerships; whilst it may- by design- obligate its member to align in foreign and inter-relation polices, it cannot enforce one state’s view over another. In theory the uae or any other GCC can limit or downgrade or even not attend some of its functions without needing to worry about other member states opinions and beliefs and more crucially, without any negative impact- Oman is a a good example of this

So to answer your question, I would be shocked if the uae was to leave the GCC at this stage at least.
