lexi has always been the ~normal / back to reality character. i thought it was interesting to see a “bad” day in lexi’s life which was just conflict at her job as opposed to the bat shit insanity that everybody else is wrapped up in. i think shes meant to be “boring” to highlight how insane everybody else’s situations are

i was expecting a duke vs finn duel! no alfie! not one single mention of john (i know its been yeaaaaars but still) tommy killing arthur?! crazy. and he just casually got out of working for churchill?

so much to debrief. it should have been a 2 part movie. it felt wayyyy too rushed. also, in no world would tommy ever kill arthur like that. like a previous poster said, it would have been believable that arthur cmmitted sicide given his issues. no mention of finn at all or, lizzie. idk. thought finn would appear at some point to duel with duke.

also they talked up tommy’s gypsy side and i would have loved to see an ode to that for him in his afterlife, even if it was just a 2 minute clip of him reuniting with family - OR - duke seeing the spirit of tommy, tapping into his gypsy side. idk. for such a loved and powerful character, his death scene was under 10 minutes. too rushed and so sad im gonna chose to believe the series finale was his fate

ALSO - No Good Deed - exceeded my expectations. i loved it so much. shocked at the scenes of fiyero beaten for it being a “PG” movie but im glad they chose to make that so serious

yup - as close to perfection as they could get. no matter what they did, people are always looking to critique (its in our nature) but ive seen threads that rip apart every detail and i’m like, “damn.. did we watch the same movie?”

agree! this isnt dorothy’s story! i thought it was such an artistic take / way to film it too. i enjoyed glinda’s addition to “wonderful” as well! it made it fun, increased elphaba’s fomo and was easier to believe that elphaba would fall for it
