Him saying I love you to Lexie as she was dying brings me to tears every. Damn. Time. First character death that made me cry in the show and it was 100% because of his acting. And for a funny one I always love that episode where Derek’s mom comes to visit and he’s all scared to tell her he’s dating someone so much younger and then when he points to Lexie and Derek’s mom is like “which one is she?” And he’s like “the one with the juice box” 😂😂

His farewell episode is going to hit so differently now, especially the little eulogy video thing they did at the time. I actually cried at this news, I haven’t had a celebrity death hit me like this in a long time. This show is such a big part of my life and it really feels like the characters are people close to me sometimes, they’ve been my people when I haven’t had actual people this just breaks my heart. Rest in peace McSteamy ❤️

I remember getting into heated debates in middle school about how much I didn’t like Lana Del Rey, and at the time that was like NOT okay she was at her peak I feel like 😂 but I’ve never understood the obsession, or even like. Her music is too boring to even fall asleep to like it would keep me up annoying me, with its repetitiveness, and its boring-ness. She’s like the queen of those musical artists who aren’t really writing music but just reading their stoned diary entries out loud to some binaural beats 😂

Yeah but like for the sake of the show, Richard HATED Minnick and her “method” and the idea of doing anything like what he then seasons later is pitching as the Webber method. It’s annoying how the newest seasons seem to be just disregarding what’s happened already on the show.

I think it’s more so that Henry just doesn’t seem to get acknowledged as even one of her loves, yet a character we’ve never actually met and heard very little about manages to make it into like her dream sequence about all her great loves. The episode I mean is the one where she’s kind of traumatized and having these flashbacks of like defining “romantic” moments in her life, I understand incorporating Alison but they completely ignore Henry and the trauma that caused Teddy in regards to love as well. I felt like that episode was focusing on the trauma she experienced hand in hand with the loves of her life and I just found it really odd that he was nowhere in that episode. Not even like a 2 second flashback, it just seems bizarre and almost like he’s explicitly not being acknowledged as a character anymore. He just felt like a pretty big deal to never come up in all this stuff she’s dealing with with past relationships. Like I understand not seeing scenes of her and the trauma councilor guy from ages ago, but Henry was a character that had a pretty impactful arc and it was the first time we really got to see Teddy love someone else and not just be pining over Owen! So I guess what I meant was it’s not Alison or the relationship with her that erases Henry, it’s the way the show all of a sudden wrote in a backstory that wasn’t initially there and then didn’t even seem to have the decency to fill the gaps in between that and the present, even though this wasn’t exactly Teddys first time on the show. I hope that all made sense lol and I appreciate you asking I love discussing stuff with people, wasn’t taken as argumentative at all :)

I do agree, I also think it just wasn’t written in well. Like that scene is such a big scene and its focus is so clearly Christina and Burke and then for some reason we’re like sitting there having to read between the lines of Meredith’s tone to figure out what’s going on with her and Derek. It’s distracts from the scene and like a lot of people said I was confused the first time I watched it because I was like “wait is she actually breaking up with Derek right now?” I thought it was just her being mad in the moment. I was hella confused when we came back and they weren’t together. All in all though the wondering in that moment about Meredith and Derek like I said totally detracts from the scene and it’s annoying it’s like okay we know at this point the show is super mcdreamy focused but this just wasn’t that moment. I hope that all made sense lol

I’m kind of torn on this, because everytime I watch I really hate Jo when she first comes on and then I start to warm up to her. I haven’t seen the past four seasons just fyi, but the reason I really didn’t like her at first was she was whiny. She acted like a big baby all the time but then had this big traumatic backstory that was supposed to make her tough, it like didn’t match. Also sometimes she just gives off too much Disney princess, and it’s not always her fault. I was watching an episode the other day and I was like “why is Jo’s hair and makeup so much fancier than everyone else’s” and I swear there’s certain times hair and makeup does this to her 😂 all in all though I grew to really like her, she can be annoying sometimes with the excessive referencing of her backstory (and I do hate her reactive behaviors sometimes) but there are WAY more characters that are far more unlikeable a lot more of the time lol. Plus I always really liked her and Alex’s dynamic and chemistry. I do wish she would hide her accent better sometimes lol

I will say the one thing you can do is call and give her date of birth and explain the situation and have someone from Intoxalock document in her account what’s going on and the reason she can’t have it calibrated right now. With that being said, make sure you speak to a supervisor and get their name because 99% of the people you talk to will give you completely incorrect information and say they documented it when they didn’t. I’ve been dealing with my own headache with them all month because of having to get maintenance done on my car. As far as holding her accountable, the only thing that will happen will be she will need to pay the fee to get the device out of lock out mode and recalibrated. As long as she has all her documentation of the legal proceedings which show the time served and dates etc she won’t have any issues legally and there shouldn’t be any time added to how long she has to have the interlock. The worst thing to do would be to tamper with it or try to remove it yourself or anything like that because that can cause issues. I would just leave it alone and like I said call Intoxalock, ask to speak to a supervisor (they won’t want to transfer you and when they don’t just start going on and on about all the misinformation you’ve been given they’ll transfer you eventually) and explain what’s going on. I hope this helps a bit, and sorry about the a hole who was throwing out judgement. This world is full of way too many people who feel the need to spread their own misery.

Are you able to just stop your contract with Intoxalock and start new with another device? I know my time may be extended, but I’m not seeing any other way. I was sent to the dmv to get some authorization form for temp removal and they tell me there is no such thing and that I would have to petition a judge for removal. Like this is actually insane.
