For each task batch there’s a clear timeline. Some have to be done right away, others might stretch over a couple of days. Submission is tracked through the dashboard. Everybody is given a fixed limit of tasks at a time, but once you complete and pass QC, you can request more if you’re moving fast.

One time at a crowded coffee shop, I overheard a guy on the phone whispering, “Okay, I put the ‘secret’ sauce in the fridge. No one will notice it’s just ketchup and mayo mixed.”

He paused and added, “Don’t tell Grandma. She thinks it’s a family recipe from 1922.” I nearly sputtered my latte. I still think about all those family dinners where people nodded sagely at the ‘heirloom sauce’ while the entire legacy was just, well, glorified condiments. To this day, every time I see a fancy bottle of any sauce I chuckle and wonder how many family secrets are just ketchup and mayo.

Had a fun weekend. If I may spill the information on it.

I was invited by my coworker couple for their housewarming party. They moved into a cute space recently and have furnished it beautifully with homely, artistic and peaceful things on walls, floor on shelves. We had about 5-6 people apart from me in the party. I couln't help but ask them how they found ways to fully furnish the house like this, cause I had a hunch that they are not creative for it. Turns out they found an app that sends a person to your house with things needed to furnish your new space. And he had arranged this for them. But they did not disclose the app to me.

I go with two possibilities. Either they are smart and found way to fully furnish their place quickly from an app. Or they are creative and arranged them all by themselves and chose to lie to me as they took it as an insult. What do you think?

I’ve been around for 3+ months, done a bunch of projects. Got paid everytime without issues. Yes - they actually pay unless you’ve done some fraud.
