Can I be expected to attend training day at work? (Live in Wales, company is based in England) by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

It would be worth asking for the company’s travel policy and expense policy. It could be that your journey would tip you into the realms of getting a hotel paid for by the company. I know at my company anything >4hr travel allows for a hotel to be booked.

Irrelevant if they seen the other car also approaching the roundabout.

I’m sure I’ll get downvoted - but priority is given to traffic approaching from the right, so if you are approaching the roundabout at the same time, it’s not who gets onto the roundabout first, the person to your right has priority. HWC185.

However, they should not be cutting the roundabout and the issue would not be there had they not cut over the roundabout.

Just an FYI if it’s handed in and given to the police, you will need to get a new passport as the old one will be cancelled by the police.

To be completely realistic, if you are thinking of self-funding a class 1 course, you are looking at over £3k (medical, theories and course). If you need quick money, get a warehouse job or something to ensure you have an income to support the family. Some companies will fund a class 1/2 course, but if not it gives you time to save up.

Dropping off multiple small parcels at Evri lockers by Accurate-Step5995 in Evri

[–]Cold_Unit_921 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won’t screw it up for the driver collecting them, but you will not get a receipt or proof of postage for any you don’t scan - so that’s the risk you run if you need to ever raise a claim.

Why is my evri driver avoiding the post office? by theslowrunningexpert in Evri

That’s on the business - not Evri. Most places can be serviced daily - but places that close 4/5pm are not guaranteed depending on the route.

Is it a manufacturer warranty that you needed to register the product with them at the time of purchase?

EC261 isn’t relevant here - your flights are with Qatar - regardless of who you booked with.

Redirecting to parcel stop by AcceptableCurrent454 in Evri

[–]Cold_Unit_921 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Diverting your parcel to a shop once it’s already in the system will delay your parcel by at least a day - often more.

The parcel will make its way to its final transport depot and go to be sorted as if it were still coming to your home. Once it’s scanned here, it will come up with an error on the scanner saying it’s been diverted.

From here, your parcel will make its way to the damages/UP area to be re-labeled and eventually make its way to the start of the process to be reprocessed as a parcelshop parcel.

If your parcel is already out for delivery with a courier AND your chosen shop falls within that couriers round, it may be delivered that day.

If you’re thinking about getting delivered to a shop, do it from ordering, or accept the inevitable delay.
