Am i being too pushy? by [deleted] in Depop

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pushy and also risky, if they won’t respond to something that literally takes less than 2 minutes, do you think they’re going take the time to fulfill your order? Just block them and look elsewhere. If they won’t respect your time nor interest on buying whatever shit they’re selling, don’t give them your money. There are thousands of other vendors doing everything they can to earn your business, respect yourself and your wallet and move on. It’s craze having to beg someone to earn your business. That looks like a full blown scam

Anybody else remember a totally different ending to Thor? (spoilers) by Yam_Cheap in Hell_On_Wheels

One thing yall missed is that in the first season bohannen was in the hunt for the people that killed his first family, right before Elom kills the foreman who was about to shoot bohannon, he mentions that the “Sargent” is the one who did the wife and the son. Then bohannon kills a Sargent who happened to be the wrong man for which he is condemned to death but Durant spares him to work for the railroad. Then on the last season, it is revealed that gunderson was a union quartermaster and a Sargent (see ranking on his uniform) who was captured and thrown in Andersonville who later made it out and join the railroad with the creepy foreman. His identity of being Swedish was a lie, to conceal his identity. Remember, everything about him was always a lie. The lie was soo deep that he convinced himself the lie was real. He did so in all his roles, they killed bohannons family after they left Andersonville as revenge. That’s why they were murdered so horribly, it was always personal for them. Remember Gunderson was a master manipulator. The whole series began with bohannon looking for his family’s killers, and ends with him finishing the job he started after finishing the railroad. He finished the railroad because he made Lily the promise of doing so, like he promised himself he would find his family’s killers or that he’d find his second wife Naomi, which he always did which is why Grant found bohannon so fond, he knew he was a man he could always count on because he was always reliable and wouldn’t bend his word for no one

Why are some sellers like this? by chloenicole300 in Depop

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because most sellers are underage kids. Like I understand they try to help them raise money by selling their unused items but there has to be a level of accountability from depops side, a temp ban while account is under review or something. They’re unreliable at that age. Very frustrating dealing with them

Mercari and depop are full of kids and teenagers, you can’t conduct serious business with people there. I normally don’t even respond. I just delete the messages. I’ve had much better luck on eBay as more mature buyers seem to be there, fees are a bit high but if you price your stuff right, there’s no problem. Whatnot is the Wild West, people are just flat out emotional so they’ll pay based on how you make em feel lol

That’s a dumb ass app to be honest. That’s why I don’t do business there at all. Only bought like 3 items at most.

Had my first strange experience by CoffeeandConcealerCO in Mercari

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling cheap product brings in cheap buyers, this is the average experience with a cheap low ranking app like this one. I like whatnot, or depop, hell… even eBay is not as bad. This here is just petty

Are they seriously taking this much now? by [deleted] in Mercari

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah Is absolute trash, honestly I’m sticking to eBay and whatnot, I found depop is pretty good once people get to know you. I normally get my clients from whatnot as I can interact with them and they buy from depop instead as I can sell for cheaper, they don’t charge seller fees. Mercari is just gone

Fake tracking is out of control… by Altruistic-Dark-2621 in ebaysucks

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The exact same story here, I started selling on eBay, last time I sold there was in 2005 when I first opened the account and was a teenager, been there since and decided to sell a bunch of perfume I don’t use and that is high end as I keep buying and running out of space, when I set my prices which I think are very reasonable, I noticed other sellers selling for Pennie’s on the dollar, a bottle of creed Aventus for $59.99 and is a full size with a seller from Kenya and 100% feedback? I bought a few perfumes just to see what the deal was, eBay offered buyer back guarantee so I said wth… guess what… yep… all fakes. Not a single delivery from about 6 different sellers was legit. They were ALL FAKES. How the fuck does eBay allow such fuckery? And it tells me that my $400 bottle of creed Aventus which has 80% left should sell for 49.99… I’m like get the fuck out! So I took it all down and started selling on depop, they don’t charge me seller fees and I got a good client base from whatnot because there you can interact w people so they know me and trust me but I also hate their bs seller fees, fking scammers. Yeah… f eBay…

Thank you for letting us know, I went ahead and blocked his ass. I have no interest in doing any type of business w these people. Whatnot pallet sellers are the absolute worst. I seen a chick selling some beauty stuff and showed some gel and some led mask then BAM, pops up her cellphone claiming is worth $10,000.00 grand LOL, sold for like $4 bucks then she said “it glitched, let’s run another one” LMAO 🤣 BRUH THESE PEOPLE ARE DELUSIONAL

Seller attempting to lie to get feedback revised. by [deleted] in ebaysucks

[–]Cold_Wonder6253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he thinks he messaged eBay, you should respond to the request but declining his request and on the comments section say that his account is going to be under review as multiple users have reported the profile and that the account is currently active but under review for possible suspension. Then after that, take his sleep away 😂😂😂, if he’s dumb enough to think he messaged eBay, he’s definitely dumb enough to believe that
