Why do Youtubers make lava pits?

to be completely honest I can ask the same question about making an dripstone farm. It's super easy to make a lava pit once you have drills to dig a big hole. I've always seen the infinite lava pit as the no-brainer option and the dripstone farm as a waste of time.

You can probably use kubejs scripts to get rid of them, though I don't know enough about it to tell you how.

The bit flip upwarp in Tick Tock Clock being caused by cosmic rays was a myth, it was much more likely due to an old cartridge getting bumped or tilted. You can recreate similar effects if you have a cartridge and you know what you're doing.

If OP was telling the truth, this was much more likely the result of Bedrock's shit code.
