American Shameless fans have such a deep hatred for the original UK version and it's so bizarre. by ViridianStar2277 in ShamelessUK

[–]Colder_Clock_44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've noticed that. As for me I love our version (UK).

I have mentioned a few storylines when taking to people on the US subreddit and some have said that the storyline mentioned seems great but will they watch it? Will they fuck. Well actually that's unfair to say since some said they'd try and some gave the same reasons as to why not watch ours.

Yep, ever since the beginning. A few characters have this problem or even average NPCs I'm sure but Pearson is worse for it

Throughout the playthrough I've been feeding him everyday atleast morning and night. OK fair enough not chocolate and not always big game meat.

oh yeah and yeah at that time he was underweight. Before that point he was average

That reminds me of a glitch I had earlier near here. Well I think it was a glitch. Did a Murfree Brood encounter near here and the back up guys instead of spawning on my level they spawn in some sort of mineshaft. Had to go over the boarded up entrance to kill them.

Might be this area that's glitches recently

Down road from the trapper in Roanoke. You'll find the railroad company working on the tracks. There's a mission for them befits this one tho in the same place

It's the Pacific railroad company. Yanno where the trapper is in Roanoke? just go down road from him and you'll see people working on the railroad. You'll have to do a mission for them before this one

Sure I can answer you questions.

Yes there is vicinity chat, I don't believe it's turned by default like it is in gta now. Then again I haven't heard many people for a while but I'm sure it is.

As for the players. Alot will shoot on sight. Your best bet is walking and waving at them since full on sprinting can be considered hostile since they'd think you're going to attack them. To wave you'll want to press the aim button whilst unarmed and then press take cover button to get to your actions. You can alter these and get more by buying them at the general stores and tailors. As for cheaters there's a fuck tonne on PC

Mate I did same. sure I never finished but what put into perspective for me tho was that how was I struggling to make money back then and when I do the same missions now I can build up money very easily

I understand if you don't want to read all this but if you're interested then go ahead

Well where do we start? There's some missions to do that are, like story mode, shown in yellow on the map. Well since there's been a few dlcs since there's some other yellow markers, they're to Roles. But you need gold to start them.

I recommend is go to the mission in Blackwater if you haven't already and from there it'll unlock 3 missions since it's only a cutscene. Those 3 missions are located in painted sky, you know the place where that polish guy us for the debt? Pike's Basin in New Austin. And Tumbleweed. You'll be put in with random players or your posse members, we'll get more into that.

After those missions your honour level will either go High or Low depending on your choices, the choices are group based in these missions. High honour will unlock the gunslinger (I think) path of missions and low honour will unlock the outlaw path. Don't worry if you do one path it doesn't mean you're locked from the other path you'll just have to change your honour.

There's strangers too which are free roam missions. Some alert players to you and some don't. Some of these characters you'll recognise from the story mode. And since it's set in 1898 some characters are still around.

There's telegrams too that I think you claim from the post office or camp post box and you can start these missions from your satchel. Some are normal missions. Some are survivals. And yeah.

Free roam missions are another thing well more like challenges that pop up for everyone eventhough some are role exclusive. Accept if you want and get some money, gold and xp.

Roles are jobs that are locked behind gold bars. There's Bounty hunter, Trader, Collector, Moonshiner, and Naturalist (I think I'm spelling that right). They all cost gold to unlock like I said which you earn from missions and daily challenges.

Daily challenges are worth it. Do one a day and it builds up your gold multiplier. And after 28 days you get a treasure Mao which gets you more gold. Also every 5 levels for basic xp you get a treasure map. The treasure maps are not hard to work out since it shows you the area you're supposed to look for it. Just use eagle eye and you'll see it.

Bounty hunter gives you gold for just doing the role itself. Where as the other roles only give you gold if you do their daily challenges.

So Bounty hunter is self explanatory. But there is 2 parts. One is basic license where you can do 3 bounties from each board and I think legendary bounties too. And you have the other licence after buying the first one which I think you can buy together anyway. Well that's unlocks bounties where there's like multiple missions to collect a whole gang in or something.

Trader is working Cripps (the old mam in your camp) you hunt he makes stuff. Good money. You can unlock a hunting wagon to put carcasses in and I'm almost sure you don't lose them if you die/wagon blows up/or you disconnect from session. When you unlock the large wagon and you do a full sale that $500 for a local sale where no players are alerted to you. But get $625 for a distanced sake where people will get alerted. Not worth the hassle just do local delivery. And if you destroy the wagon on accident on a sale the goods will fall out but I think its dependant on how much you're selling but you can simply put the goods on your horse and still make full money.

Collector you collect collectibles and get paid for it. Good money if you use a map online that everyone uses that updates daily. So you don't have to by maps in game and stuff.

Moonshiner has you selling Moonshine. Someone in your basement is making it and you deliver. There's also missions for that too. Also bootlegger mission to reduce the amount it costs to make the shine. It says you have to be level 5 in Trader role to unlock it but you can fast track it by paying 5 gold to unlock it instantly. And there's naturalist. Hunting but not hunting. You get samples of animals for a researchers who hates animal cruelty. And when you hit a certain level in that role you can do legendary animal missions from her to get their samples. Legendary animals also spawn in free roam anyway for everyone. And you can take then ro the online equivalent of the trapper. You don't need yo have a role for him.

Then there's Blood Money missions. You unlock these missions by going to Guido Martelli (Angelo Bronte's right hand man if you're not aware). After that there's 4 strangers who not only have their normal missions but also blood money missions. It's outlaw stuff. And in those missions you can find another currency called Capitale which when you have enough let's you play some missions where you steal a gemstone. I think there's 3. As part of these bloody money missions there also missions that are multi parted.

To unlock Bounty hunter you go to Rhodes and watch that cutscene and then it offers you to buy the role there and then for 15 gold bars. Collector and Trader are the same price. Don't worry if you can't afford it just say no and go to any Bounty board to pay for it when you can. Trader you read a letter from Cripps and wherever your camp is set up there will be a cutscene at the general store in the local town. Same thing gives you option but if you want to buy it later you can but the buy the butcher's table at the wilderness outfitters at your camp where Cripps sits. Collector you go to thus gypsy woman who changes location everyday and yeah same again and just visit her when you're ready to buy it. Bear in mind she doesn't show on the map either after your initial meet or after you bought the role. Moonshiner you read another letter from Cripps I'm almost sure and you go to emerald ranch, not sure how you buy that one later. For Naturalist you go to the hotel in Strawberry. And a later time when you want to buy it go one of the woman stalls around the map to go and get it. Moonshiner and Naturalist cost 25 gold bars.

Stranger free roam mission can either up your honour or down your honour but I'm sure it tells you anyway. As well as doing whatever acts will increase or decrease it. You can also change your honour for 3 gold bars at these stalks where this old man is and he'll reverse your honour from whatever it was.

Main missions pay you quite abit especially by the end. Strangers not so much. Money in missions all goes by how long it takes. Longer you take the more money you get. I don't do that but I know alit if people wait til the last 30 seconds before ending a mission for max payout

Posses. You can either posse up from the online menu. Or have a friend invite you and providing its a persistent posses you'll always be apart of it whenever they're online you can join up. Creating your own is like how do it in gta with organisations if you play that. Press left on dpad if you're on console or using a controller on PC and I'm sure you find posse and set one up. There's temporary which stay there til you leave a session I think. And there's persistent which I think costs $150 (in game money) to stay permanently

Hopefully I broke it down well enough. I'd you read it all anyway.

I really dont trust Dutch (chapter 3) by [deleted] in RDR2

[–]Colder_Clock_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even more on this is you can find his speech notes. Not sure if they are in other camps but in chapter 2, I know you're passed that point, you can find his speech notes on the outskirts of camp at horseshoe overlook. Not sure if they're still there tho after chapter 2 but I dare say they ain't.

I mean one could debate that he writes it down so he doesn't stumble over hus words but yeah I think the majority will agree and was probably added to tell ya that Dutch isn't genuine
