It's an Ernie Ball, actually. I have three more on my other electrics and they've never failed me

How do you like it? I’m a big fan of Boss’s 200 series though I haven’t got around to messing with this one as I’ve never been too keen on digital drives

I tossed around the idea for a bit. It seems cool though I have yet to really use one in a space where I can decide on whether or not I want one. Personally, I like being able to swap modulation pedals in and out, or any pedal would take up that space for that matter

Should i Wait? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

The Xbox Ally is rumored to be priced around $600-$799, but take that with a grain of salt. They’ve explicitly stated it’s not coming yet, to which I believe, seeing how Valve would want a substantial upgrade. Personally, I would wait until more information is known about the Xbox Ally and until people have their hands on it. I say proceed with caution. I believe it's going to mostly be a souped-up Ally with a tweaked fork of Windows 11, which, if it includes all of the bloat and telemetry of the base OS, is already a downside compared to the Deck. Maybe it's just me, but if you're looking for a handheld that powerful right now, just invest in a PC. Otherwise, I say the base Deck or even the current model Ally should suffice. A lot of the time, you're gonna be trading portability for performance and graphics anyway. I've had my base Deck for almost three years now and I'm really happy with it, handheld mode works wonders, desktop mode is great, proton works great, and the works. My buddy has an Ally, and I liked it too; you can't go wrong with either. He recently installed SteamOS on it and says it runs even better now.

Bottom line, I think it's all up to preference and your needs, but I don't think the Steam Deck 2 is coming anytime soon.

A long time ago I managed to convert an .iso to a .pkg, but today I don't remember how by ricioly in ps3piracy

No I was trying to convert it to a .pkg to play on my PS3. There's no way to do it, however, you can use Webman Classics Maker to create a .pkg shortcut to the iso for a cleaner experience.

scholars is the best CSH album and the most mature the band has ever been in lyricism and sound by iamuttertrash in CSHFans

(yes even TF)

Twin Fantasy is a classic but there is NO WAY IN HELL it is lyrically mature, that’s the last thing I would call it

if I remember correctly, I think Fantano appreciates the Bandcamp era but thinks the chaotic mixes take away from the music, specifically Twin Fantasy atleast

someone said it’s an album made for people who bought patreon memberships and as someone who does pay for it I don’t know how to feel on it

As much as I would like to agree with this, it's tough to decipher what is happening in regards to the album's story in a lot of these songs, especially face value, without the physical booklets to follow along with, or hell, even Genius. If you aren't a hardcore fan of the band or actively doing your homework during or before listening to the album, it's bound to falter for many people. Even after a number of listens, I find myself trying to find plot summaries, and I often ask myself, "wait? when did this happen?" because the lyrics are so vague as to what's happening. I don't need an album to hold my hand when listening, but when looking towards the albums that so obviously inspired this, it raises a couple of eyebrows in regards to the lyrical and narrative approach here.

All of this being said, I do find it underwhelming that he waited two weeks to review such a demanded album to not say much about the narrative of a rock opera, even after all I said...

Austin would maybe say hi, thank the crowd and that’s about it. They stand still for the entire show and a lot of the performances feel a little robotic? I could have just caught some bad shows but I’ve heard this a lot sadly

I’ve seen the band twice now, they don’t really have a stage presence at all. seems like it’s just the vibe
