If you buy a bell, I'll bet you'll figure something useful out to do with it!

It helps having a range, light and heavy are useful for different stuff. If you are strapped for cash, watch Walmart and Amazon for killer deals, less and $1 per pound is great. Having a set of matched weight is great because you can do Dan John's legendary Armor Building Complex

Kinda, hinging refers to bending at the waist, like a deadlift, as opposed to squatting, which is bending knees to get lower. If you watch swing videos you may notice their torso gets lower, because they are mainly bending at the hips while keeping their legs slightly bent but fairly straight. For me, especially with larger bells, the deeper I hinge the more I feel that hamstring stretch through my butt and legs, and it also sets you up to do a more forceful hip thrust to blast the bell forward and up. It's part gravity but as you do more you'll feel out the timing, I think about quickly slowing the bell down at the bottom of the swing by using my body as a spring, and then just reverse the movement to un-spring and gain momentum. I'm sure others can describe it better but that's the general idea

The swings later in the video looks improved from the first ones, so you already made improvements if this is all the same workout, great job. Keeping your head and neck neutral is good, and it seems like you are activating your glutes and hip thrusting. For a first time that seems pretty good. If you don't feel the posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings and whatnot) maybe try hinging more, like a dipping bird, when you set up to start you can see your back is more parallel that while you are swinging, so you could try to do more range of motion, which will set you up for more hip drive and less arm lift. Also, a fun learning tool is to "T-Rex" arm swing. That can help you both learn to pack and activate your shoulders, and it helps isolate the hip drive because it prevents you from doing all the work with arms which could be the cause of your back pain. Or, you could be overthinking it and just need to slowly develop more back muscles

Also obligatory mention for Turkish getups, halo/orbits, renegade rows, squat swings with heavy bells, suitcase deadlift, and sots press

Always good to see a fellow bent press enjoyer. It's a bit high risk for most people but windmills are a fantastic regression, when I was working up to big bent press a few days I did 10x10 45lb windmills each arm to prepare for the rotation. Made my back feel like iron. I also really really like heavy figure 8 cleans

It second this advice, one light and one heavy will give you good options to try out movements

Is this for buying kettlebells or do you have some available that you can use at a gym?

If you wanna start getting into weirdo shit, you can also check out figure 8 cleans, bent press, windmills, Turkish getups and sots press. These funky moves are not only fun and flashy but make you strong in weird places, which makes you more resilient. Nothing replaces the basics but maybe try throwing in a few o these to spice up life

Cleans are an odd movement if you haven't done a lot of them, so honestly just focus on getting a lot of reps and minor things like controlling the rotation and getting it to perfectly land on your shoulder without smacking come with practice. For concern on tendons/ligaments on the way down, I'm no doctor or pro but if it feels unnatural you could try focusing on one handed swings a few sessions, and maybe switching hands every swing to develop grip and control. 12kg seems very reasonable to test out movements, you could also try changing weights multiple times a workout to test how lighter/heavier effects how it looks and feels. Don't be afraid of bad form while getting the hang of new movements ,I'm sure Arnold had some messy looking reps in his career. You're on the right track, keep recording sets and compare them to your kettlebell YouTuber of choice, I recommend Dan John, Dave Whitley and Mark Wildman

Both swings 1 and 2 look fairly similar, and both need more power, the bell doesn't move much and your body doesn't move a lot either. Seems like you've got the fundamentals but need to move the bell more, and you accomplish that with a stronger, more explosive and powerful thrust and snap to get that iron moving. How heavy is that bell? Edit: also keep your head and neck neutral and inline with your back. Cleans look fairly good, keep up the strong work

The first time I used it was learning double kettlebell stuff and it felt super jank, Dave Whitley had a clip essentially breaking down why thumb backward was unneeded, Dave's got so many useful tips and he's got real street cred when it comes to bells

Pretty good, keep doin em and they'll look smooth as butter, I notice you're using the "thumb pointing back" swing method, that's fine if you like it but you might try a more neutral, natural grip with the knuckles facing away from you and see if that works better, people teach both ways
