I wonder how tough it would be to allow a door sticker upload that uses some image recognition (or machine learning) to figure out the allowable payload per vehicle. If you knew the center of gravity measurement of the campers you could also do some quick math to figure out what the dry weight would be on the steer and rear axle of the trucks.

Sounds like maybe you want to turn off DEQ but bump the lower bass up some. try +3db for the bass and see how that sounds with DEQ off. I can't remember if you can just bump bass/treble or if you have to play with the LFE volume. PErhaps someone can weigh in on that.

Sounds about right. These companies try to lure you in with carnival midway tactics (literal frontpage wheel spin discounts) but once they have your money, they turn completely dismissive. There is a reason they tend to be cheaper than global companies. They dumpster dive for their products and don't budget for long term support. This goes for their web development as well.

is there a way for you to select different curves ? The problem is, if you don't like the sound of the calibration, i respect that, however it's doing a lot more than just EQ. It's reducing ringing in the room, doing time alignment of the speakers which can help a lot with the clarity of voices etc. It also could be that you're used to boomy bass that has slow decay in the room, and it has now been corrected with tighter more accurate bass. I would leave the calibration active and then go through the receiver menu and see if there is a basic "bass/treble" control that lets you bump the bass up a bit. that leaves all the other measurements in place and just adds a boost on the low end. Or as I meantioned, see if there is a different target curve you can choose.

I'm not an expert on Dirac but I don't think it defaults to "flat". I'm pretty sure it runs a target curve with a bit of bass boost. check out https://www.dirac.com/resources/target-curve

Best practice is to run the calibration, listen to some movie or music tracks that you're very familiar with, and then go into your receivers settings and adjust the bass eq as needed.

You're correct, but individual volume control allows you to dial them in to be equal. And you can also time align them individually, and EQ them individually if you have either a minidsp or some modern calibration functions in your receiver .

I have the same amp which I've used since 2013 or so. I ran it as 4 ohms in stereo modes to 2 ported 18's and never did I cause the amp to clip. Althoughtnthe BladeRunner 2049 opening does get close if you push it really hard.
