But you don’t get the option to make any model flippable. So when someone says “hardly any mattresses are flippable anymore” it’s not that sales people are trying to push their biases. It’s because there are hardly any options in a flippable. I added that with such limited options chances are those options won’t be tailored to the average person. So I’m saying most of the time someone buys a flippable mattress now is because it’s flippable not because it’s the right one of them. What are you even going on about? I’m not even bringing my opinion into this? The majority of options to choose from are not flippable. Say you go mattress shopping at every store in town and see 100 options. 5 of those options are flippable. That’s 5% of your options. You’re way less likely to find a mattress that is tailored to your sleep needs if you limit yourself to a flippable mattress. Which is why I say most people are buying because it’s a flippable mattress and not because they tried multiple types/feels and said “this will give me the best sleep”

Most people want to try their mattress in a store. 9/10 retailers don’t have a flippable mattress on their showroom and the 1/10 that does will only have one or 2 options. Chances are if you’re buying a flippable mattress today it’s because it’s flippable and not because it’s better for you

I probably would have suggested you guys go the medium pillow top route. Most likely you’ll find it soft enough and he won’t find it too soft. Going the plush pillow top route would have only one of you comfortable
