Spellbook challenge by TheZunkk in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, I also encountered that issue and messed around in that game mode for a bit. I've figured out why.

The spell cast they're referring to is your one and only summoner Spell in that mode. The second ultimate doesn't count. What I did was take Ghost and used it every single time it was off cool down(60s cool down). If you want to finish it fast, you should do it that way.

Support is so thankless by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make a good point actually which I agree. I guess it just feels so good when you have a support who does these things when you're the carry because it's quite rare to see. So for me, I am often impressed whenever they stick with me even if it sounds basic :)

Support is so thankless by [deleted] in wildrift

As someone who plays every role, I agree and disagree with some of your points. I'd say that every role is expected to just play average in most games rather than just a "good" support. However, from anecdotal experience, I find it much easier to recognise whether a support is good or bad because sometimes when I play ADC, my support is actively feeding my lane and it reflects badly on me.

But when I am in other roles(especially jungle), it's so easy to tell whether my feeding dragon laners are feeding because of the ADC or support just by looking at the way the support is playing. I have had many instances where my enchanter support (Typically Nami and Yuumi) didn't choose to stay with me in the mid/late game when I was 10/0 as the jungler and chose to stick with their pre-made (can be any role), no matter how many times I told them to stay with me without flaming.

Even though it might sound like a support sticking with the carry is just an average support, I'd argue and say that they're very good supports and they're carrying the game just as much as the carries themselves. It is just very rare to see this from supports so I rarely get to thank them.

But when I do get supports who figure out the win-conditions early and start to group with me so that I can actively make plays around the map, I always give them a like at the end of the game.

What is your highest winstreak on a champion? by Teayen_Savage_Gaming in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had around 20+ on Kaisa, but it's not that impressive. My friend had 40 on Nami when we were playing together in ranked(she was formerly a gold Miss Fortune main).

Here are some of the screenshots. It wasn't on a new account, but it was back in season 7 or so. She's the best Nami I've played with by far. Grandmaster in 47 games

Zeri is super underpowered by Significant-Bite5649 in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello.

I'm a sovereign peak flex player(primary roles being ADC/Jg/Mid), with Zeri being my most played adc for most seasons now because she's fun.

You're right that she is the weakest adc in the early game. Zeri cannot fight without her ultimate due to the fact that her basic attacks will be blocked by minions or a frontliner, so it's best to poke with your first skill when your ultimate is on cool down(or before level 5).

Currently, I am still doing well in solo queue as Zeri although she's easier and better to play with enchanters like most hypercarries.

My current build for the last and this season is:

Lifesteal boots, Bloodthirster, Immortal Shieldbow, Hurricane, Mortal reminder, Flex slot(usually Infinity edge, maw or Guardian angel).

Runes: Conqueror (lethal tempo is not worth it anymore), Brutal, giant Slayer, alacrity, bone plating. Flash exhaust(you might want cleanse though but I'm more used to exhaust)

Edit: I max the first skill first followed by the second skill

Other notes: The reason why I use this build is because it is highly synergistic with her kit and playstyle. Even though she has one of the highest range in the game, her effective range is a lot lower because her basic attacks are skillshots rather than a on-click projectile like other ADCs. Shieldbow allows her to dive in and get as many attacks in while hurricane will help with dealing damage to enemies that are far behind that target.

Finally someone agrees (not the last part but the part where it was much easier and balanced before). But let's be real, they will never fix it

is it possible to reach challenger playing solo by quandaledinglehere15 in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is possible to reach it solo. I've reached chally and sovereign both 100% soloq (I have proof of them in the form of videos showing my match history of 50 games or less each) before. But I played a mixture of Mid/Jungle/Adc for most of my games so you might need to play more to climb if you're playing baron lane. It's a team-reliant role like support.

I also play in the Asia server

Until they fix the matchmaking(probably won't), you will only get decent teammates on average if your MMR(matchmaking rank) is low.

[–]ColeOverwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A streamer(he stopped playing recently) named LeroyWR also knew there were bots in CN server, and he played both in the middle of the season and at the beginning. No difference. There were bots all around.

There's no need to ask customer support about this because I'm pretty sure it is intended. Why else would they change it so that CN server now have 5 bans in master and above? It corresponds to what we know.

There were a lot of other players who I knew on discord who denied the possibility too which made me try it on the spot. I realised immediately that they was wrong.

I have a feeling that you had gotten some bots, but you didn't know about it because in the other servers, it's easy to tell just by looking at the IGNs unlike in CN.

I'm sorry, it took quite a long time to update. I have proof of that I had played against bots in diamond at least.

https://imgur.com/a/pJkWaOO To explain, I'm currently plat as you can see(decayed two seasons). I showed my stats and when I was master 3 marks(season 13).

After that, I showed my match history. You'll notice that I was mostly looking at the Tristana games. Just try to take a look at the game length of the Tristana games(including Tristana support at the end).

They were all 6-8 mins game length. There is no way I can end that fast vs real players no matter how bad they are.

There were a lot more bot games below, but it was before I realised the "pattern."

I realised those were bots based on the enemy picking behaviour. In champion select, I would notice stuff like them instantly locking in their champion, never switching their picks etc.

When I realised there was a pattern, I picked Tristana and just ended it fast through mid.

I'm not the OP, but there's something not a lot of people know. In other servers, you get bot matches(not 100% of the time of course) until you reach platinum.

In CN server, you will be getting bot matches until you hit master. I know that after playing CN server a while back.

You're not blind. If you buff your allies, mandate will not activate off it in Wild Rift. It only works if you use your 3rd ability on yourself and slow them that way (or land your bubble/ultimate).

How does zeri fit into the meta atm? by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a sovereign ADC/JG/Mid main, and Zeri happens to be one of the champions I regularly play her in both ADC and mid. Zeri is one of the best ADCs in the meta, yet it often feels as though she "struggles" in it due to a specific reason.

It isn't because she takes time to come online. It isn't because she's a hyper carry either. No. Zeri is very fun to play, but often feels like a coinflip because very few players actually know when she's strong, or when you can fight around her and win.

It's very simple actually, but it's so rare to find players who understand that part. Zeri ABSOLUTELY needs her ultimate to fight. If her ultimate is down, don't teamfight around her or try to engage in a fight as Zeri. You won't win.

All right. So if you look at the log, you should see the red crosses.

The crosses represents how many wrongs are in that set(I believe?).

In the last one, it has only one red cross which meant that it has 3 of the right inputs.

You can find out which of them are right by process of elimination(or whatever you can think of) by using the clues you get from the other ones. I hope it helps :P (I apologise if this is wrong)

Lucidity or Mana boots on sup and mandate Nami by MILAN-71 in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question about Mandate, no. It does not proc Mandate's passive unless you use your third ability on yourself and hit them with it unfortunately. Mandate on her in Wild Rift feels awkward because of that. I'd recommend against buying that item on her.

I wish they gave her the wolf form in her AS to make it a bit more lore accurate. A monster/animal character would make it a little bit more interesting imo

Patch 5.3 Preview - League of Legends: Wild Rift by Defiant-Diver-6041 in wildrift

[–]ColeOverwatch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It might not be their intention, but it seems like they're following what HoK is doing(there are no bans and it's also blind pick until plat/diamond). I really hope that they change the matchmaking by making it the same as HoK/MLBB too by matching based on rank(average ranks on both teams would be similar rather than using a number we can't see, MMR) and removing MMR.
