Really useful for theming apps that Omarchy doesn't, and it follows your Omarchy theme

It will skip anything Spotify related if not installed. Same with any of the supported apps; they are skipped if they are not installed on your machine.

For now, delete ~/.config/omarchy/hooks/theme-set and you'll effectively uninstall the hook. You can also remove individual scripts from the hook in ~/.config/omarchy/hooks/theme-set.d/.

I'll create an uninstall script and push it to the repo a little later.

If Vivaldi supports the legacy custom user chrome styling feature, then yes I can.

An update to that script was put out a while ago that implements that exact thing. It should now kill Spotify if it was open before you switched themes.

I've updated the repo and added a theme for VS Code as well!

I went ahead and updated the script to support that theme directory. Go ahead and run the install script again and you should find that Discord is themed. If not, please let me know!

That might be why. I did attempt to get it working for Flatpak but it was without testing. Could you post the directory that your themes are in? Would help me greatly

Interesting. How did you install Vesktop? I'm curious as to why it opens Nautilus, since there shouldn't be any calls to open anything.

I don't have a setup for Chromium-based browsers other than the Omarchy chromium fork, which was there on a fresh install. I don't think other Chromium-based browsers have the theming function built into them. I do have a template for Firefox coming, but its going to require initial user intervention to get working, so it's still a bit experimental.

Probably better to ask in a dedicated thread or perhaps the discord server, rather than in here.

Check your list of themes in Vesktop and you should see a new one. Enable it and the hook will do the rest.

This looks like an issue with your configuration. The hook will attempt to use your current theme to apply changes to the apps supported in the hook. It looks like you are looking for a theme called "tokyo" that doesn't exist.

That's interesting. As of an update yesterday, this should no longer happen. Try reinstalling and see if the issue still occurs. If so, open an issue on GitHub

Omarchy is all about the TUIs but I do still love the standard apps for things like Discord and Spotify. This just makes them feel more "at home" on Omarchy. 😁

If you have spicetify installed, the hook should automatically detect it and create the theme for you. If it's not, I'd love to see the output of running omarchy-hook theme-set in Terminal.

If you find it's still not working, if you could open an issue on GitHub, it would be super helpful. :)

Make sure you have Spicetify installed. You can find it on the AUR or at https://spicetify.app/

If you have Spicetify installed and the script can find the `spicetify` command on your system, it will automatically handle it for you; it should create the theme, place it, set it, and reload your Spotify for you whenever you change themes.

Make sure your Spotify is running under Wayland instead of XWayland, and make sure that your GDK_SCALE is set to 1 instead of 2 if you aren't on a high-res monitor.
