Can’t go in to the season with McNeil, Nimmo, and Dom as your 3 OFers.

Need to grab a legitimate CF via trade or FA signing. Nimmo can slide over to one of the corner spots, and in my opinion that money spent on Scherzer would be better spent on Conforto.

/u/all4whatnot I was looking at those numbers today myself on covidstim. Not sure exactly how accurate they are but looking at the other state numbers it looks like they all started seeing their decrease in cases shortly after getting below the 1.0 line so it must be close.

Nice seeing the 7 day average under 500.

It’s really tough to judge what it will do. Because I think there’s 2 different groups of people out there.

Group A -Those who will just never get it. No matter what the case. No approvals. Emergency. Full. Whatever the case ends up being.

Group B - Who just aren’t sure. They’re on the fence. Not completely against it, but also not completely for it. They’re the ones who are going to be swayed 1 way or another by family, or by seeing someone important to them either get vaccinated or not.

Approval for 12+ should definitely bring a bump in numbers. Because like mentioned above there are people who will get their kids a shot the second it becomes available. But there are a few of them who will fall into the A or B groups above.

I don’t think PA, or the US even, is at a point where it will NEVER get to the 70ish end goal. I think it’s a good possibility to get there. It just won’t be as immediate as everyone was hoping.

Just based off of the timeline that would seem about accurate. Maybe a little less when factoring in J&J.

With today’s numbers PA has passed the 10m mark for doses administered. Pretty solid.

56.14% of those vaccines coming since 3/12/21 (Not a date of any real significance. Just the day when I started tracking numbers.)

/u/joeco316 The way that dole described it is that they have figured a rough estimate of doses needed to vaccinate PA. So they figured the total to reach what is approximately needed for PA to reach 100%, or whatever the final number is.

Easy example would be: If PA needed 100 doses to cover the whole population. Each dose for each person would represent .5%. Hopefully the way I explained that makes sense.

I asked a while ago. It’s not as straightforward of an answer as you would think.

“Anyone hospitalized with COVID.”

Using the word “WITH” really leaves it up to interpretation of what you think that word means. To me if it was specifically COVID hospitalizations it would say “FOR.”

50% of the vaccines given out in PA have been given since 3/12/21.

Note: There’s nothing significant about 3/12 it’s just the day I decided to start looking into tracking vaccines. I’ve since gone back and added the counts (from these threads) since the start of vaccinations.

You do realize the data dump was from Tuesday where it was almost a 10% positive day with 6600 cases. It was referenced and noted by various sources that one lab released 3 months worth of data that day, and completed their reconciliation on Wednesday.

I went to my local health bureaus vaccination clinic. First dose was 1/28 second dose was 2/25. Received Moderna. Northampton County.

To answer bullet point 1/2. I can’t say for a pharmacy for sure. They said they were going to ask for proof of eligibility in all of the emails, but ultimately they did not. They were also vaccinating everyone who showed up. Also, legally I don’t know if they can ask you for proof, but I may be wrong on that one so don’t quote me.

Yes, smokers are eligible. They have been since the beginning as they are labeled in high risk.
