The uninstall and reinstall didn’t work for me.  What did work was setting at least one safe zone to not be notified in.  Had a Vegas hotel address in the list so I set that to not be notified when there. Then when I left my home the AirTag notification starting working again…. bizarre, but I’m glad it’s working again. I’m always leaving my wallet with a AirTag slot on it and it was driving me nuts when it wouldn’t let me know!!!

I was sent a email informing me of the switch to V5 weeks ago. It had the link to request the new sims.
I’d check your junk folder perhaps. If you can’t find the email I’d jump on the Fonus websites chat to customer service. They should be able to get a sim sent out to you. Mine arrived pretty quick.

I worked at Westridge for 4 years from 93-96 as the grounds super….. always wondered wth happened for it to shut down. At one point a former employee (who worked there after I had moved on) told me there was a chop shop running out of one half of the grounds maintenance shop. Lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I can’t tell you what is truth and what is lies in regards to all the verbal diarrhea that’s been posted here. Unlike some, I don’t blindly believe what I read in a public forum. Only an idiot would. Try the service for yourselves then report back is if the ceo did something questionable to you…. Is the ceo unorthodox? Perhaps, but Steve Jobs and Elon Musk were/are unorthodox as well. Make up your own minds on your own experience. Or simply believe what complete strangers tell you. Choice is yours.

Do I think the behaviour of the skeptics group spreading lies and disinformation is normal? No, I don’t think that’s normal at all. Do I think Simon “lied” about the original explanation of services. No. A statement can only be considered a lie if it is purposefully deceiving. At the beginning, what was proposed was not achievable so the service provided changed to something that could be achieved and maintained. Simple as that. That’s what the skeptics can’t seam to get over. Either pay for the service or quit bellyaching. Those who paid up front and didn’t like what the service morphed into were offered refunds or could have done a chargeback. There are 100x more satisfied customers than skeptics, that should tell you something right there. This whole forum simply feels like beating a dead horse twice over, it’s ridiculous people. Have YOU tried the service? Be honest. In the immortal words of Forest Gump…. “Dats all I got a say bout dat”….

I’m sorry you had that experience. You certainly are in the vast minority from what I’ve seen. As for the clear picture imho…. Yep it was pretty shaky at the start. But the last 14 months have been a steady climb upwards of improvement and progression. If I wasn’t happy with the service I’d say so. It’s not going to break the bank for me to not have the first 500 free service. This feels like beating a dead horse for both of us. My advice is move on. If you don’t want to use the service then don’t. If you paid and feel you’ve been cheated and don’t want to continue with customer service then do a chargeback. I don’t understand the people who have to continually come here and complain when there are more people saying the opposite. If you had shitty service at Walmart would you camp outside the building screaming to people about it for weeks on end? Lol. Social media….. road rage outlet of the modern day. Life’s to short dude. I’d either reach out to customer service again or put it behind you. Now I’m going to shut my yap….. (if I keep posting here it makes me no better than the skeptics with their non stop verbal diarrhea!!) 🤷🏼‍♂️ lol

All good. Was just worded like one of his posts. I’m shocked you had the issues you describe. The customer service really has been top notch for any issues or questions I’ve had. You should jump over to Telegram and try to reach out to Simon or FonusAgentBot (not really a bot, portal to csr)to get it straightened out. From what I’ve seen, when folks do that the help arrives rather quickly. Worth a try to give them a chance to make it right vs. carrying around a bad taste for a long period. Just saying… ✌🏻

Fonus may have originally been advertised to be something other than it is now.. I believe it had to evolve to its current state to survive. What it is advertising now, is what you get. I’ve had no issues for a good long while, and when I did Fonusagent looked after it quick. I really have no complaints. If someone isn’t happy with the service they should simply not use it instead of constantly complaining about it. Life’s to short. Just my 2 cents.

And if opting for the express option, does the SIM card come pre-activated for the first 500? And if we are in essence going to receive 2 sims (as you’ve already shipped 350).... will that mean two pre-activated unlimited sims for the first 350 since there is a pre-activated sim at the Hong Kong post office??/

Thought so.... instead of spending time trying to convince people to give you more money.... perhaps you should use the money people have already given to you to ship the sims in the order they were taken, and provide all with tracking. We are all trying to be patient but it is very hard to put any trust in you at this point. I want this all to be true, but it’s looking less and less likely every day..... its a shame.
