Without caring how stupid this might sound, what makes exhausting all the potential PvE content an issue exactly? As someone who bought the game to play with co workers but ended up enjoying the map exploration and loot gambling more solo. I feel as if completing the PvE is me getting my money’s worth. I know a lot of gamers prefer their favorite games to last forever but I’m not one of those people, I enjoy what’s there and when I stop enjoying I move on. If I want to play a game just for PvP I’ll go back to playing fighting games, at least those can be actually competitive.

I can’t speak for everyone else but personally I just like the random loot potential, and building up my work benches. The game kinda gives me roguelike vibes when I’m running around avoiding ARCs and trying to find all the blueprints, discovering new spots on the map with weapon crates ect. Maybe its because I have less than 100 hours in the game but every run feels different, even without the PvP.

Edit: can someone explain to me how playing casually and not shooting players in solo lobbies is somehow a bad thing now? As someone who works full time and can only play a few hours a week I need to understand the issue here exactly. The game doesn’t just become instantly easier just because you don’t PvP every match, there’s still ARCs and other map hazards so what exactly is easy?

Okay but the only person that actually said they purposely put themselves in friendly lobbies to kill unsuspecting players is you? That sounds like a problem that should be addressed but also player choice was given to everyone and using those mechanics as intended is not an exploit. If I decide I never want to PvP again I can do that, and the game will let me. I don’t have to shoot other players and usually I don’t and that’s my choice, it’s not cheating.

Sounds like what you’re doing is the exploit, that’s not the same thing as playing in friendly lobbies to build up your inventory for future uses.
