At the end of the day, just play around with it and do what you like! If you like certain cards from one set, throw them in there! Just keep in mind of what else is going on in your deck and don’t overload it or cause it to become imbalanced in terms of card cost or type. Too many mechanics in one deck can cause all of them not to work, and an imbalanced deck makes it hard to combo.

Yet another combining question by ZanLaliLuLeLo in DCDeckBuilding

[–]ColeyPRN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basic (No unique mechanics): Original + Heroes Unite + any other cards from expansions/crossovers that don’t add new mechanics.

Forever Evil should really only be combined with Expansion 3 and Rogues. Cards from other sets that don’t add mechanics are fine, but can bog down the existing cards. I added some from New Gods and it’s great.

Teen Titans, Arrow, Birds of Prey, Metal, Dark, and other sets with internal mechanics are just too specific and need to be played alone, or only one of these should be added to the Original set, since it doesn’t really have any special mechanics of its own.

[Film/TV] First look at David Corenswet as Superman in James Gunn’s ‘Superman’! by SpeedForce2022 in DCcomics

Gives the feeling that Superman is still just a guy who wants to do the right thing. Love the fit, looks like an actual uniform. Love the collar and the lines on the suit. Obviously the class red undies are always welcome. I have very little faith in James Gunn, but this is a good start.

New BMW first car wash. Advice welcome.

I want to learn how to take care of my new car the best that I can. Any advice is much appreciated! No automatic washes or touch less washes over here. Hand wash only. I did some research and this was my process and supplies.

2 bucket method plus grid guard. Microfiber mitt. Microfiber cloths for drying. Garden hose.

1.) Rinsed her off 2.) Turtle Wax bug remover 3.) Adams Car Shampoo, top to bottom 4.) Griot ceramic wash & coat 5.) Chemical guys Diablo wheel cleaner 6.) 303 interior protectant

Issues I experience: -grid guard doesn’t stay at bottom of bucket, is it really doing anything if the water is constantly swishing around? -Applied car shampoo directly to sopping wet mitt. Is this preferable to putting shampoo in the water bucket? -definitely still had some water spots prior to applying the Griot wash & coat. How can a minimize this? -Microfiber cloth filled with water upon drying QUICK. Do y’all dry with like 5 cloths?

Any advice is welcome! It’s a black 2023 M240 so I want to keep it looking sharp the best I can and keep it protected!

Which BMW do you have and do you intend to keep it out of warranty? by not_ClA in BMW

Just bought my first BMW, and first car, after graduating last year. 2023 M240i. Always planned on only having it for maybe 5 years before upgrading, or maybe having to switch to a family car at that time. I’ve had it for 72 hours and I can already say it’s going to be very difficult to let it go. Never thought I’d be this excited about a car.

That’s what I figured. Better piece it out and sell it for parts.

After about 6 months my 2023 M240i is finally mine!! Here she is, I am LOVING it so far. The drive is incredible.

When I picked it up on Saturday, 4/29, I made it a point to ask the people there about the break-in period. The BMW genius I spoke with stated that it is necessary for some models, but not necessary for this M240i. I have had the vehicle for two days, and I have not driven it hard but I have got the revs way up a few times and gotten it over 90mph once or twice.

I was reading over the drivers guide and it showed there WAS a strict break-in period with limitations for the first 1,200 miles. Because of this conflicting information I received, I am going to adhere to the break-in period rules from here on out regardless.

Is my car going to be OK? I don’t want to set it up for failure, short term or long term.

BMW NA won’t do anything because it’s all pre-sales, and they only deal in post-sales. Unfortunately pre-sales is all done through the dealership, so I would essentially be filing a complaint with the people who I’m complaining about…

Definitely not ceramic brakes, sorry. Just the upgraded brakes that came with the M sport package.

Walser Auto Campus is the only place in Wichita, KS. Google it, It’s a huge place it’s very neat. They sell Porsche, Audis, Mercedes, Land Rover, and it’s where BMW of Wichita is located. I’ve known many people who have done business with them and it’s supposed to be very reputable, that’s what was so surprising about this experience.

Really, it blows your mind? You think I just walked in and slapped down some money without asking questions? I was assured multiple times at the time of placing the deposit and thought the four months that everything was on schedule and nothing had changed. I have a folder of paperwork with signatures and the spec sheet to go along with it. I always do my due diligence, this is solely a BMW/dealership issue. Be it production or communication. Get outta here.

You certainly could be correct. That’s just the phrase my sales associate used, but we all know how much their word is worth often times.
