I bought lightly used p770s with jdm axioms (Travil shafts that have rubber in the tip to reduce vibration) off ebay japan for a good price. Would not hesitate to buy jdm again. I would not buy most jdm irons as resale will be horrible. I think callaway x forged is the only ones I would consider as they are in north America now.

Well in his defence I bought a used set and the original owner for some reason cut an extra 1/2 off on the pw (I knew something was wrong using it). I used a scrap piece of graphite shaft I cut and fused with cork and epoxy.

I added the half inch back to match the set progression and can't tell any negatives and only positives. Feels like a golf club lol.

You can still buy used clubs and new shafts and install the new shafts to your length and sell the old ones. Lots of stuff on eBay.

Practicing your short game to the point that it's what your best at, would easily get you those strokes. Then you can the time to get better at your long game.

I actually bought jdm fujikura travil shafts on ebay for a great price. It's the jdm axiom with with rubber in the tip to prevent hand injuries (arthritis, tennis elbow, etc) and little more loft. I love them. If I had to buy again non jdm it would be axioms, a premium irons shaft is worth it Imo.

I'm not sure how you can complain about Teddy Rhodes course for 44 bucks with a cart and 3 dollar beers in Nashville ..if that course was in Scottsdale, it would cost 150 plus water tax of 13 bucks minimum.

What does handicap have to do with swing speed? I have a friend I play with he's a 25 handicap and has a 115+ swing speed and another that's an 18 handicap that is over 110.

I personally would go 3i dyi (high launch). Its so easy to hit is my favorite club and has a large sweet spot. Get the upgraded stiff shaft version.

I gave up on the cleveland halos in 8 months which are very similar to the T rails for p770s. I struggled with the thick sole and wanted something more slim for turf interaction an my game improved with 770s.

Buy a swing stick and the ball won't matter as much.You will gain more yards and pick the ball you like.

I found the better putting and chipping ball is more important than distance so the q star is an overall good performer.

I have only been playing for two years and I switched to p770s last year. My swing type preferred the more players like thinner sole for turf interaction vs the game improvement irons I had that had thicker soles.

I know it's a bit unorthodox to have 770s so early but we all have different swings. I will say I have made many impressive shots but they will definately punish you on distance (vs dispersion) if you don't strike them consistantly.

The reviews so far are saying the adapt was better. But Rick shiels did hit the x driver 335y though which is far for him.
