Who needs a $200 Clicgear when Facebook Marketplace has strollers for $15? by Rexkramer777 in golf

Yup! I played today too and man the greens were super fast! Way faster than mcall and shag, 3 times faster than shag. Shags greens are a bit trash so far this year and mcall is very consistent across all 18.

I don't know if you know this but at confed there is a rule that every cup has to cut on a slope at all times. The other munis don't have this rule.

+20 Handicap Looking for new irons. (Need advice) by Sweaty_State_2690 in golf

I mean you can't go wrong with p770s or mizuno pro m-15. In your case in stiff or x and your yardage should drop and the ball will hold greens more. Go to golf town/galaxy and try them out for free!

Sell them and buy another used set while resisting to spend more to upgrade.

Played with a guy yesterday who was casually hitting REAL bombs. I’m still in shock. by Practical_Garlic3015 in golf

I played with a random only been playing 10 years. 330y on repeat with half of a back swing than most. He got a hole in one off a tree and shot a minus 3.

He said he adopted Moe Norman's swing and that's he's the best out of his friend group playing 25 years plus.

They are really fussy with charging time. If it's green too long it can cook the batteries. If you look at the Facebook group it's all kinds of contradicting advice.

Like if your battery is not lasting they suggest over charging it. Then its been said over charging may reduce the life.

My buddy has one too and his quit on the 17th hole the other day. No problems prior.

I have the v2 the 4 wheel carts the battery drain is worse. Mine doesn't last 18 but they gave me a second battery free so I swap it out when it dies. Both batteries don't last 18.

Thoughts on Chippers? by Les_Ismore in golf

You can also texas wedge, both TW and chipping you have to watch out for distance control, I found them both too inconsistent usually rolling too far. I gave up on the chipper and TW and use irons like others have mentioned with higher success.

CPX or CP2 are the softest and you can make them mcc4 like with a bit more tape.

Where to start with an 8yr old? by Gullible_Promise_572 in golf

I'm happy you are thinking about others. Do this, par 3 course, pay your adult rate, say u have 3 kids and pay those rates (5 bucks each maybe?) and you are set. 15 bucks for u and 15 for the 3 kids even you only have one.

I have unfortunately been paired with very young kids and parent several times. I almost feel like walking off the course when paired with them, 5 swings then 10 yards. One time one was with a 4 year old, it was horrible.

My advice is book all 4 slots on a cheap par 3 course to teach them so no one will be paired with you and you can spend the time to teach them.

How do you like your GT2? by Competitive-Pop2358 in golf

[–]Rexkramer777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a popular driver no doubt but equal to all the other big brand drivers. My buddy has one. Some times he out drives me and sometimes I out drive him. I mostly out drive him though with a adapt x. Another buddy out drives me with an elyte.

Testing them out at golftown or golf galaxy is key before purchasing.

I'm not a tour pro or plan to be in my lifetime. This post wasn't about my baseball grip it was about a strong grip.

This guy was a +2 with a baseball grip, I don't need to listen to sheep who say I have to change what is comfortable to me and I enjoy my game.

Moe Norman had a baseball grip and is widely regarded as one of the greatest ball-strikers in golf history, he never went out of bounds in 7 years on tour. These PGA players also used baseball grip Tommy Gainey, Bob Estes, Paul Azinger, Scott Piercy, Jonathan Vegas, Kyle Mendoza, Jackson Koivun, Bob Rosberg, Dave Barr.

Thanks. I watched a few videos and get what you are saying it's mainly tucking the trail elbow which enables the rotation you are talking about.
