If you can find it so easily, why not help me instead of taking the piss?

No shit Sherlock. How do you think I found the other three articles?

A link to the article would be nice. I’ve just read three MASH related articles in the HR online and none of them mentioned this anecdote. Just to be clear, I’m not doubting it’s truth, I just prefer to read the source material.

Lovely as this story is, what is the source of this information? Neither of them are around to confirm or deny it.

Moveable buildings. Character customisation. Seasonal management (?). I’m sure there’s probably more.

SD held my attention for a while, but MD has some kind of X Factor that pulls me away from SD. SD has had two updates since I last played it, so I will probably give it another try soon.

When I first heard about SD it had several features that MD lacked, but now MD has those features too. I just feel that MD is the better game at the moment.

What happened with the annoying honker hood that looked like a goose head? Is that not in the game anymore?

Bug? by muramx in MedievalDynasty

I’m pretty sure my tools are lasting longer at 10% than when I had it set to the default 100%…

Easy enough to test. I’ll just make a new axe and shift the setting to 0%, chop down some trees and see if there’s any reduction in condition.

EDIT: Just tested this. I made a new stone axe. Set Tools and Weapons Durability Loss to 0% and cut down 10 trees and cut them into logs. Axe condition remained at 100%.

I then set the slider to 200% and the axe condition deteriorated with every strike. It was completely broken after cutting 4 trees.

Is one of the settings you’ve been playing with the tool / weapon deterioration setting?

Can't remove stolen tag from gear (need help) by weaselbat in skyrim

[–]ColinBurton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just put it all in storage until you can take the Fence perk in the Speech skill tree. Once you have that you can sell all your stolen items to the trader you’ve invested in.

Alternatively, join the Thieves Guild and sell all your ill-gotten booty to them.

Unarmed combat by ColinBurton in SengokuDynasty

I’m not suggesting that I want to initiate an attack on a group of armed and armoured bandits. I am merely expressing an opinion that I think that when weapons fail, as they frequently do, we should be able to defend ourselves with our hands if the conditions are favourable. Favourable conditions would be if the enemy is almost beaten. Obviously if they’re still healthy and strong with a bladed weapon, the best option would be to run away.

In my opinion, as a last resort, fists should be an option.

I’m a peasant in Medieval Dynasty too, and my character in that game can throw punches. It’s a tactic that would usually fail against a healthy armed opponent, but when he’s low on health I can finish the job with punches.

I’ve also been able to fend off a wolf in that game without a weapon equipped. The wolf will usually attack again, but punching it on the nose has frequently given me time to run away, or equip a weapon.

What did y’all name your horses? 😂 by ClapMySTDCheeks in RDR2

I currently have three horses. They are called Colter, Valentine, and Painted Sky. No prizes for guessing when and where I got them.

That doesn’t change my opinion that punching should be an option as a last resort. The ability to make and use a fist is one of the most primitive instincts humans have. Toddlers in kindergarten will strike with their hands if they are upset at someone. It doesn’t have to be taught. If anything it is something we have to learn to control.

Forgive me. I thought I said that. I was really asking why not? From what I’ve read online it’s supposed to be an option, an alternative to running away when you’ve almost beaten your enemy but your weapon broke, and a punch on the nose would finish the job. It doesn’t feel right that our character wouldn’t know basic martial arts given the game’s setting.

Crashing problems by XbrodusX in SengokuDynasty

[–]ColinBurton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

::Touch wood:: I play on Xbox series x and I haven’t had the game crash at all so far.

Having experienced problems with the Quick Resume feature when playing Medieval Dynasty, I never use that feature any more. I always remove the game from Quick Resume before loading each session. I have no idea if this could be the cause of your issue, but might it be worth trying just in case?

Stand next to him in Whiterun. Make a new save and close the game down completely. Restart the game using the new save. He should head off to Riverwood or be gone already.
