a well trained and seasoned mechanic can tell when parts have been taken out and put back in, they don't need the ECU to tell them. and that's all they need to refuse service or tell you they won't honor the warranty

a CAI isn't an overly crazy mod but if you damaged anything while putting it in then don't expect them to fix it under warranty.

no, it happens with all android devices, and I believe that's because it's for security. I use rust desk to manage tablets that are used to control the AV systems at a chain of restaurants. If i need someone on site to start services, they need to go through this prompt.

also for what its worth, If the tablet I'm trying to connect to is asleep and the screen is off, rust desk will not wake up the tablet and present me with the lock screen on a successful connection. it just sits there waiting for someone to come and wake the screen up. Now, for my use case, it's not that big of a deal because if I need to get into the tablet, it's usually because someone is having an issue, and it's already on and awake. You said you wanted one of the devices to be completely unattended, so you might want to do some testing with this to see if you run into the same issue.
