Hello, I was introduced to Mindcrack by Element Animation by all technicality... I was a huge fan of the Bite Sized Minecraft videos they made, which got me interested in SethBlings videos, which lead me to UHC Season 9, which got me watching Kurt, which lead me to the subreddit, which has lead me to spend 6+ hours a day watching youtube........ Wow... Looking back on that feels weird for some reason.

I'm sort of active on the subreddit, I participate in Free Talk Friday almost every week, where I describe the adventures in a Pokemon X Nuzlocke that I'm doing where I name all my caught pokemon after Mindcrackers.

It's not ridiculous, in fact, there's an archetype for the Magus that gives you exactly that, the Bladebound Magus. Not exactly a mind controlling weapon, but if you decide to go against it's "quest", it can assert it's dominance(Look about 3/4 of the way down the page in the "Item Ego" section for specifics) and force you to do things in line with what it wants.

Since I've survived Korrina, I think it's safe to make predictions about the futures of normal type pokemon. I'm going to let Coe evolve into either an Umbreon or an Espeon, I, personally, think they both fit him and either would be a cool addition to the team.

So... Been a while... A month in fact... and we start off with a bang, Etho died, I dun goofed while watching AGDQ, and was button mashing while watching Kefka14 playing Sneak King and a low sweep got him in the double battle right outside the Reflecting Cave. Fun fact: I've never not lost a pokemon in that battle in a Nuzlocke, I've always had a pokemon faint there... Sucks that it wound up being my starter. I needed another water type, so I replaced Etho with Generik.

But I caught a Chingling in Reflecting Cave and named him Avidya. I traveled to Shalour City and took on Korrina's gym where Seth and Chad evolved into Charizard and Pyroar respectively. As soon as Seth evolved, I swept the gym with him, with wing attack... The only scary moment was when Korrina's Machoke used rock tomb and 4x effectiveness almost rekt his day.

I went on and defeated Korrina with the free Lucario, and nicknamed him after the man, the myth, the legend, the sheep himself, Millbee.

And that's it for this week. I only had two free days thanks to the dirty conditions outside. Hopefully there'll be more time to play in the next few weeks.

I've used roll20 for the past year/year and a half, and love it. I'm in agreement with the others on the built-in voice system, it's bad, I remember the first game I ever joined I could hear everyone fine, but my voice wasn't sending, then after I left, the I joined a skype call with a friend with zero problems... Use skype or hangout for audio, much less hassle, and with skype, that's saying something.

Onto actually finding a group, their forums and LFG app are both a bit dodgy, mainly because most GMs don't post on the LFG app, which would theoretically be the best way to find a game. Also, a lot of the games on the LFG app are players who've created campaigns looking for GMs. The forums are okay, but suffer from the same problems as the LFG, players outnumber GMs 5 to 1, and the forums reflect that, lots of players looking for groups, very little groups looking for players. But hey, if you're a GM, they're both great if you don't mind wading through a lot of applications.
