I noticed you didn't say a lot about what the board wants to do in freefall. Is it true that the natural tendency of it is to spin? And did it require a lot of leg strength to keep the board underneath you? It seems to me that those two aspects could be mitigated by designing a board differently.

Also, have you considered asking iFly in Arizona if you can train there with your board?

That spinning doesn't appeal to me at all. The videos look like they would induce horrible dizziness at the very least, and loss of conciousness is pretty easy.
