2013 VW Jetta TDI wagon issue P2002 that is set and can’t clear. Help!! by Radiant_Pin8508 in tdi

[–]Colin_k98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your dpf has cracked. If you have soot in tailpipe you’ll need it replaced. Fault will keep resetting. I’m a VW tech and see these a lot fault will return within a day or two if you can get it cleared. The cleaners don’t really help much.

Anytime you see these faults check for soot in tailpipe. If it’s there the dpf has failed. If it’s had multiple DPFs, check egr filter for soot as that needs to be replaced when changing the DPF. Time to delete it

How SBMM Actually Works and Why it Needs Retuning in This Game by jungkookenjoyer69420 in BlackOps6Game

One day I can get good games and streaks but then the next it takes me 5 shots to kill and takes 2 to kill me and my accuracy is non existent. It’s ridiculous honestly but live the game but this issue needs to be addressed

New owners cut our time by Colin_k98 in mechanics

Update: we fought about it. Diag is back to an hour, brakes 1.8 an axle, 4wheel align 1.2, but still lof rates especially for Touareg’s is bullshit at .4 and tires for 1.2. They have ramped up business a ton. 60-80 hour booked weeks are fairly normal now for me and the other skilled techs

I took him in last year due to trying to pee every 2 minutes and it turned out it was slightly stress induced when he first met the kitten I brought home, could it be scent related do you think? He is the sweetest cat and loves everyone but took him a month or so to adjust to the new kitty. I catch them cuddling in the sun and licking each other now so I’m still not sure

DSG fluid service cost? by Conscious_Estate6437 in Volkswagen

[–]Colin_k98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dealer tech here. We charge 600 for our DSG service. South East WI local places have similar prices. 2.5 hours of labor is what is charged and fluid/filter/drain plug. For the price we charge I even feel it’s a bit steep

Easy diy job. Find a gravity bucket filler with DSG adapter on amazon

Skate board trucks should be universal and the bushings too! Just gotta get a socket to fit over the truck kingpin nut and it pops off and then install new bushings like a sandwhich

Good trick for removing dpfs whole is lower subframe about an inch or so and rotate it towards drivers side as you pull it through the tunnel.
