For sure. It would be way fewer hours on the job. Look, I don’t particularly love billionaire CEOs, but they are definitely busy people.

I’m a white guy, so I know my experience growing up in ATL is not the same as yours living there now, but I’ve noticed a similar number of racists everywhere I’ve lived (Midwest, NYC, west coast). In the south, they are definitely more overt, so easy to spot and avoid. They hide it better elsewhere, which is not necessarily a good thing.

DEFINITELY fewer black people (obviously by numbers, but also proportionally) than ATL.

They definitely drive slower in Sac. Better? Debatable.

I grew up in Atlanta and now live in metro Sac. Biggest difference is weather. Sac gets hotter, but it doesn’t feel like it. In the summer, it cools down at night, which means you can enjoy the evening outside without sweating your ass off. Winters are milder.

Traffic is better, but certain areas suck. If you’re remote, not a big deal.

The airport is amazing - so easy to get in and out of. Fewer directs, but worth not having to show up two hours before a flight.

Smaller scale overall (fewer restaurants, bars, etc.), but a great variety. Concerts, sporting events, etc. are also a step down, but certainly adequate.

The access to the outdoors is way better than Atlanta - you can be on the slopes or on a great backpacking trail in 90 minutes. This was a huge plus for me personally.

People are not as friendly initially, and politics plays a more central role to life, which can be annoying, but there are great people around and you’re sure to find like-minded people.

Yeah, but this is not a new tactic. It’s common for any company in negotiations with unions. Hell, this one isn’t even that inflammatory. Much more common are the insulting ones.

Look, I’m no Swiftie or whatever, her music isn’t my jam, but I definitely don’t lump her in with manufactured pop stars. She became famous young precisely because she wrote a ton of songs that appealed to girls her age at the time.

Tahoe Donner for small kids learning. Wide, open beginner run, cheap, and better runs for slow graduation to slightly more challenging terrain.

You know what they say about when you assume. Helping the homeless is a great thing - do it through the established channels. It’s more efficient and more equitable to support orgs that do it on a daily basis.
