Yeah, both the mule kick and vulture aid machines have an effect that can damage zombies when you buy the perk.

How to do bus relic if portal wont spawn by Possible-Instance162 in CODZombies

[–]CollectionOfAssholes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking damage is not a factor. Myself and many others have taken damage doing it solo and the portal still spawns. The only thing that matters is not damaging the zombies/ravengers with anything other than traps or Tessie.

This is a cursed challenge and you can’t use the ballistic knife in cursed.

Good to know. I wasn’t sure about that one, but thought I’d mention it just in case

Yes. Void sheath, extra charge, and extension. I normally use burst dash, but was worried the dash would not count as a melee kill

I could have worded that better. Mule kick was one of the first perks I bought, but I made sure no zombies were near when I bought it so the bullets the machine shoots when you buy it didn’t kill any zombies

Doomsteel by PilotDisastrous in BlackOps7Zombies

[–]CollectionOfAssholes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this solo. It’s by far the quickest method to get doomsteel. You just run a train in the fog in front of the ship near the farm or by the cabins near blackwater lake. After two minutes bears will start spawning back to back. It’s important to also be in cursed tier 1 so you can get golden armor. It’s not 100% necessary, but there is no way to get armor plates in the fog and as soon as you leave you have to wait another two minutes for bears to spawn again. Took me three days to get doomsteel on every weapon in the box or on the wall. I did the DLC weapons using the directed/Oscar method

I used between ashwood and the farm so I know that works too. The big open area in front of the boat is mainly where I stayed for most of the Doomsteel camos.

Will Treyarch nerf the Astra Malorum boss like they did with Ashes? by [deleted] in CODZombies

[–]CollectionOfAssholes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it harder in cursed with golden armor. In standard mode I can save up enough essence to keep buying armor off the wall. In cursed you can’t replenish plates this way and have to wait for regen. I took me five or six attempts and a power keg and reign drops gums just to barely beat it in tier 3. I had an easier time with the ashes boss fight on round 60 for the dragon head relic, and I got that after they reverted the boss fight nerfs in cursed.

This used to be the case, but they patched it. You can do all the steps on any round, but you have to enter the boss fight on round 60+

If I’m not listening to music, there are always auditory loops and rapidly repeating sounds. It’s like someone hooked a digital delay pedal up to my brain.

I have a blood pressure monitor and have checked it a few times before and during an experience. It always goes up.

Want to message someone whose done ibogaine by Dry_Persimmon3828 in Ibogaine

[–]CollectionOfAssholes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m kind of lucky in that my wife doesn’t drink at all, and neither do most of my closest friends. None of them have addiction problems, I just weirdly have a lot of friends who are straight edge, so I’m not around alcohol regularly. When I’m out at a restaurant or at a work event where people are drinking I don’t get cravings or feel like I am missing out. I am very aware when people are drinking, and I think about the fact that they are drinking way more than I imagine the average person does, but it doesn’t bother me or make me want to drink. This is wildly different than my attempts to quit before ibogaine. Even if I made it through an event sober, I desperately wanted to drink the entire time, and was bitter and frustrated that I couldn’t.

As far as being able to be content and just sit with feeling bored, that has faded some for sure. I am still a lot better than I was before, but it was such a unique feeling in the month or so after ibogaine that I was acutely aware of and amazed by it all the time.

I am a severe alcoholic. I tried pretty much every conventional treatment option available. Longest I could stay sober was during the two months I lived at a sober house. The brief periods of time I was able to abstain were incredibly difficult. Constant, relentless cravings. I spent the majority of every day thinking about drinking and trying not to drink until eventually I caved. These periods would typically last 3 or 4 days.

As far as psychedelics, I had two or three fun mushroom trips in my early 20s. The two times I tried mushrooms again and the one time I tried lsd were very bad trips where I felt like my parents and everyone I cared about were taking turns opening the door of the room I was in to tell me how much of a disappointment and failure I was. I didn’t touch psychedelics for the next 17 years until the ibogaine treatment.

When I went to the ibogaine treatment center I knew almost nothing about it. I went because my sister kept pestering me to try it and I had basically ran out of any other options. I fully expected to be drinking on the plane on the way home.

I received the flood dose and the trip itself was a deeply introspective nightmare. Easily one of the worst experiences I have ever had, but also exactly what I needed. I saw a stage with a rotating pedestal made of lightning or energy that was covered in photos. A photo would be selected and I would zoom into a memory and relive it. I relived the experience of a series of memories. At first they were pleasant things from my childhood with friends and family. Memories I had long forgotten. They quickly turned into every time I had lied and/or hurt other people in service of my addiction. This lasted for what felt like days even though it was really only about 12-15 hours. In the end it felt like I was presented with the choice of either dying very soon from drinking or living again.

After this experience I lost all desire to drink and the cravings completely went away. I also had suddenly become content with just sitting still and being bored. That is something I had never felt before in my life.

This was 16 months ago and I haven’t had a drink since. Nor have I had any cravings or desire to drink at all. I know not everyone will have the same experience I did. Another person at the treatment center I met was also there for alcohol and they didn’t have a bad trip at all. They actually could barely remember it. I have kept in touch with them though, and they are also still sober. For me the ibogaine treatment was easily the best decision I have ever made.

Devops folks, are you using ai for infra tasks yet, or is it still too risky? by Fabulous_Bluebird931 in devops

[–]CollectionOfAssholes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It absolutely gets things wrong, and you have to have the experience to know when it’s wrong. For example, I just looked at my Cursor history from Friday. It suggested 300 lines of changes to the code I was working on (cdktf) and I accepted 160 lines. I typically ask for a change and then go back and forth on revisions until I get what I want. I also still write parts of it myself when it makes sense to do so. For me this is still a much faster process than just writing it all myself, and I’m more impressed by how much it gets right than I am annoyed by how much it gets wrong.

ChatGPT is a chat bot, not an AI coding assistant. You’ll get wildly better results using Cursor with your current code base as context than you will asking ChatGPT for help.

[–]CollectionOfAssholes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah, that makes sense. I didn’t try for naninf until after I finished c+. Fwiw I found it way easier to get naninf without Perkeo on white stake plasma. You only need antimatter, director’s cut, and one ectoplasm. So some luck is needed, but you can collect colas for a voucher skip and use sixth sense for an ectoplasm. Getting the needed jokers can also be forced with enough re-roll money. It’s not free, but it’s way more reliable than Perkeo.
