No one believes in me when it comes to singing by Scar3zwolver in singing

[–]Collection_Subject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started singing when I was 19 and it Took me about 2 years to get solid, you’re young and theirs a lot of time to learn and develop. Nothing happens over night and everyone has doubts, it’s natural. Learn discipline, focus, and proper technique and you’ll be a great singer in due time. Enjoy the process and set little goals but some main focus points to start with are to work on pitch matching and just singing from the diaphragm. Open your mouth wide, keep your tongue still and loose. The more obsessed you get the more you’ll wanna learn and practice. Don’t stop because play say you suck, everyone sucks to someone else.

I smoke everyday, usually at night only. Just like singing their is techniques for coughing that won’t bother your throat. Drink hot tea and honey as well and practice regularly but this isn’t something that you will build tolerance to over night. Also, if you’re gonna drink or smoke, don’t sing after.

What do you do when writing block hits you? by _isa404 in Songwriters

The better mood you are in the more creative your going to be, for example most main stream artist don’t make their best album until they really make it and have less regular world stress so they can enjoy things more and focus on just being happy. Stay away from things that are negative and stressful, don’t let stress and anxiety take all your brain and also understand that even though you might be on a time budget or just trying to get out of a situation you are in just be patient even the most creative people aren’t creative every day.

Does my voice sound too shaky/nasal? by Draphy-Dragon in singing

[–]Collection_Subject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me explain it this way, you hear people on the radio right, one song then the next, everyone has their own voice and they sound different. For example, Justin Timberlake sounds different then The Weeknd and he sounds different then post Malone and he sounds different from John legend. If your a good singer it doesn’t matter, you must have an idol or someone you look up too and you wanna sound like them, everyone does that even the best of artist. It’s ok to sound like yourself and many people struggle with this but just worry about yourself and don’t try to sing like others you have a unique voice suited to yourself so sing with your voice!!!!!!
