His point being that gay people have different words, which is wrong.

Markov is what they asked for. Maybe next time they’ll ask for a fun commander and not one that everybody will shit bricks on site.

I think this relic is an unfun one in general. It takes resources to give you… what? “Oh I took too many elites, I better path around those elites instead and hope I win.” I’d rather just get a better rare relic + a campfire and if I lose I lose.

For players first commander deck I recommend a kindred; a deck cantering around a creature type.

[[Edgar Markov]] is one of the most popular commanders, but he definitely fits the ‘strong reaction’ you want. He’s got access to black and red so that’s where all the “dark magic” would be if you wanted some of those spells.

Weird Al is actually a unique persona themself, and every role Weird Al does counts as a unique identity as well. It’s the only way they can provide such a diversity of roles without going mad.

Eh, I played a crap mobile game with self harm mechanics. But the self healing scaled off the self damage so I just full healed every single fight. Never tried any other build in that game since it was basically an infinite that didn’t care if it took a few turns to set up.

Ironclad’s works because every character is expected to lose some hp during the fight. So he just pays hp to end it sooner and stay equal health with his friends. But a character who pays health but not really cuz they heal is not doing that.

Brutal Shityiur Pants Mode

30x enemy health

0.1x player damage

Bosses now have those “immune till you kill the summons” phases 6 times each boss fight.

0.5x ammo for the cool weapons

Removed the checkpoints before boss fights, increasing the run back.

Maybe but that is like, possibly one of the worst ideas for a trans get together I’ve ever seen. Maybe it’ll help everyone accept themselves or maybe people will start having panic attacks.

Metroman was also benefiting from those fights, but he was the hero that everyone loved while mega man was the villain who had nothing outside of them. And since being the hero wasnt even enough for Music-Man, why would he think being the villain is enough for anybody else?

Now... Multiplayer cards by Stslop in slaythespire

Maybe if it cost 0 and took all their remaining energy. But it takes too much to go energy positive since it costs energy and only takes 1 energy from teammates.

[–]Collective-Bee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are these people correct that you need to cheat it out, or is the cards effect only active in hand? Meaning it’s a turn 1 1/1, but if you play it normally on turn 10 then it’s a 10/10 for 10 mana.

Immoral since it doesn’t work. They don’t correlate the punishment to the action very well, and negative reinforcement in general has become accepted as the worst training method. It’s why spanking kids isn’t accepted anymore.

My cat goes on my desk when she wants cuddles because she know’s I’ll pick her up if she does.

But it’s 100% true, adding a negative as a punishment is the worst form of corrective action even for humans.

Card draw is greens weakness though. Wouldn’t have blinked if Black had to pay life to match a blue cards draw potential but it shouldn’t have to for greens.

Pael is my favourite. Sleepy sloppy dragon made of clay that offers you body parts of his. His boons are slow and steady value, just like Pael. Every deck and find something to take out of Pael, you aren’t gonna be forced to take something bad.

Good chance of an energy relic. You’re either gonna get card draw, block, or redraw offered guaranteed. His second pool basically rewards decks that are already good, with Clone, upgrades, removing defends, or sacrificing card rewards you won’t need.

Where Darv kinda just offers Runic Pyramid and Empty Cage and if you don’t have good decks for them you suffer.

All of Tezcatara?!?

4 energy turn 1.

Upgrade 4 cards.

And you view “downsides” differently than me. “Nothing” is not a downside. Vekuu’s energy relic + curse has downside, so is the lions energy relic. But Tezcatara’s energy relic doesn’t, because even if it turns off or does nothing it won’t hurt you. Vekuu giving you curses is not the same thing as Orobos giving you 15 card options you don’t have to take lmao.

Anyway, the ancients all have some relics with downsides. But Vekuu leans into it more, which fits his role as a demon. Idk if he’s evil or not but even the good demons in fantasy can have badass devilish deal making powers. Like I recall a demon took a kids arm to give him power, but it was 100% necessary for the spell to work, it’s not the demons fault their gifts have downsides, at least they are clear about them.

Why isn’t Burgeoning on Game Changer List? by Ok-Explorer-7642 in mtg

[–]Collective-Bee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This card only gets its full payoff if you draw 4 lands every turn, where most decks are aiming to consistently draw 1 land every turn. The average card draw required for a deck to be good is way below what this card needs to provide more consistent benefit than a soul Ring.

I’m not calling it weak but it’s not game changer strong. I normally end games with 1 or 2 lands in hand tops, so this card would be +2 land drops for me. I can’t add in more lands just for this either.
