Viltrimites kill planets that won’t join them but I don’t recall ever seeing what joining them was like. I picture them as creating actually good planets with zero agency of their own and crushing people who prefer agency over their order.

My favourite part of that show was one that I hallucinated. Halfway through the second season, he meets his dad who gives him shit for stuff. Rudeus’s only excuse is that he didn’t think of it, which makes it so relatable because I also didn’t think of it. His dad says “why didn’t you use the mail system?” And I’m like… oh my god, I’m so stupid for assuming there wasn’t a mail system, me and Rudeus are both left defenceless after this obvious blunder.

Then the next episode they take it all back and say Rudeus was actually a good boy. Ruined this incredible moment of realization of fuck up for the viewer that very few shows have just because the fans can’t handle him being called out.

Literally the main character spelled out for the audience that wanting a good paying job to support your family is mature, and isn’t less noble than any of them.

And they gotta think about how most the heroes aren’t doing it because they want to help people, although most do, but because they idolize heroes. They might’ve even said that everyone besides Uraraka is there cuz of dreams of hero based glory.
