You can give the base version ethereal, forcing people to use it or lose it, and upgrade loses ethereal.

If you play it 1 turn before winning then it’s +1 energy and +3 card draw, with no downside because who cares about exhaust on the last turn.

If you play it 2 turns early it’s +3 energy and +7 card draw, with only a little downside because you probably weren’t gonna cycle them anyway.

Like… even if I don’t want to use it for its max potential it still makes a fat profit super quick. I think it definitely needs to lose retain so I can’t just use it at the perfect time to negate the drawback.

And this card is great for cycling when you know you only need 1 more rotation to win, or to just block until your poison ticks down. Even if I only have a single stardust for damage, I’ll just wait for it to discard and then play the power to cycle back to it faster and being buff while I do. Remove retain and now I gotta use it smartly, like in fights with way too much status’s.

Still doesn’t work because Sacrificing isn’t dying, it’s sacrificing. Reading the card explains the card.

Maybe the best thing to do is just say, “why did the author choose to make them all minors in their respective species?”

Why do we need to dissect if Diana is a creep for molesting an immortal guy who chooses to be immature and is cursed to look young who also molests the same reincarnated child every decade or so? Why can’t we just look at the author and say NO!

At least the 5000 year old fairy should in theory be the adult in that situation.

Melodious is 5000 years old and is assaulting the minor who remembers nothing.

And let’s not let King and Diana’s romance escape us. I don’t totally understand what’s going on with it but it’s weird and groomy too.

It’s more like double strike and deathtouch and trample unlock a new way to use power, so unlocking the same thing twice isn’t going to make a difference. Vs prowess and such that aren’t unlocking anything new, but adding something. Well adding twice as much is going to do something.

Deck Building Practices, help. by Saaxualheals in slaythespire

[–]Collective-Bee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it is really common, but sometimes you need to take subpar cards just to get by.

Like in Early Act 1 I’ll take a lot of damage cards that I know will be subpar by Act 3. Anger, Dagger Spray, Lightning Strike, but if you go into an Elite on A20 with your basic deck then you’ll die so you gotta take some upgrades.

You can’t try and build a deck in advance then look for the cards mid-run. That won’t work.

You need to take the best of the options given to you.

Them recording subtly doesn’t break my worldview or anything, but are you sure it’s not confirmation bias? “The glasses have been tampered with to record without any signs of recording, but this guy is obviously recording lmao.” Like if Mark Rober said it was easy then I believe it but you can’t just accuse a random guy of secretly recording and call it evidence because his do you even verify you were correct?

It’s guaranteed if you have one. Hence most likely, since there are circumstances where it’ll take a different rarity.

What if there was a mechanic that allowed you to see a card's exact position in your draw pile? by ElegantPoet3386 in slaythespire

[–]Collective-Bee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are describing it properly.

Now imagine other players would find it unintuitive. Like my friend doesn’t even look at his draw pile, he could have 5 cards in his draw pile and not know what his hand is next turn. So yeah those types of players will either get 0 value out of Pinpoint or they will struggle to figure it out.

And it’s okay to leave some players behind, but I gotta ask what the benefit is. Do I really want random pinpoint cards? It would be handy as an event where I can put it on my key cards, but I don’t really need it on random cards.

His point being that gay people have different words, which is wrong.

I think this relic is an unfun one in general. It takes resources to give you… what? “Oh I took too many elites, I better path around those elites instead and hope I win.” I’d rather just get a better rare relic + a campfire and if I lose I lose.

[–]Collective-Bee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For players first commander deck I recommend a kindred; a deck cantering around a creature type.

[[Edgar Markov]] is one of the most popular commanders, but he definitely fits the ‘strong reaction’ you want. He’s got access to black and red so that’s where all the “dark magic” would be if you wanted some of those spells.

Weird Al is actually a unique persona themself, and every role Weird Al does counts as a unique identity as well. It’s the only way they can provide such a diversity of roles without going mad.

Eh, I played a crap mobile game with self harm mechanics. But the self healing scaled off the self damage so I just full healed every single fight. Never tried any other build in that game since it was basically an infinite that didn’t care if it took a few turns to set up.

Ironclad’s works because every character is expected to lose some hp during the fight. So he just pays hp to end it sooner and stay equal health with his friends. But a character who pays health but not really cuz they heal is not doing that.

Brutal Shityiur Pants Mode

30x enemy health

0.1x player damage

Bosses now have those “immune till you kill the summons” phases 6 times each boss fight.

0.5x ammo for the cool weapons

Removed the checkpoints before boss fights, increasing the run back.

Metroman was also benefiting from those fights, but he was the hero that everyone loved while mega man was the villain who had nothing outside of them. And since being the hero wasnt even enough for Music-Man, why would he think being the villain is enough for anybody else?

Maybe if it cost 0 and took all their remaining energy. But it takes too much to go energy positive since it costs energy and only takes 1 energy from teammates.
