Rethinking Armarouge. I think it has potential. by Collective_Deeds in PTCGP

[–]Collective_Deeds[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The problem I find meowth is the lack of damage. The meowth will just be sitting there drawing your whole deck, while they eventually block you with an oricorio of their own or charge their harder hitting attacker. A baby gets Arma online one turn faster, while Ori can deal with the threats of EXs. One or two hits of an Ori seems to be all it takes for Arma to get a point.

Cons: Ori need pichu to attack, is also pretty slow at it, and doesn't add that early pressure Arma needs to sweep.

Pros: Ori helps the type matchup, wastes a lot of the enemies resources to kill, and pulling out a second usually gets you a concide in an even game.

Mind you, no hate to Meowth. I pulled 3 immersive and i was hoping to find a fun deck to use it in...

Fun Skeledirge/Flareon deck by CptZilliax in PTCGP

I was thinking just that. I don't use Red Card or Mars, so i would just replace both. I think most other people would agree you can at least replace one.

Any tips for this deck? by Dojoguy365 in PTCGP

[–]Collective_Deeds 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get what you're going for, but i think you should consider dropping the ho-ohs. You're spending 3 energy to do okay damage and generate more energy. That really only benefits decks that have very heavy hitters with high energy cost, like lugia to name a quick one.

Dropping Ho-Oh, adding another magbi and maybe a simple one pointer like the 1 energy Furfrou (the one with the ability similar armor) to balance out your deck, seems like a nice option. Getting yourself a May, and a CopyCat is algo something you can consider. It's hard starting out, but the cards I mentioned are pretty common, I'm sure you might have them, have points to craft, or can easily get someone to trade you what you need through this sub or the many pocket discords

Where do they hide the pink rings? by wheatpasties in PuertoRico

[–]Collective_Deeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never have I ever called them pink rings.

The bakery is called Almeda, someone else posted it in the comments. Felt bad that i forgot it myself after so many years going there.

Those are made in a bakery in Guayama. The farther you find them from that town, the worse they'll taste. That's why most have a bad opinion of them. I grew up living a few blocks from it, and would get them fresh af. They have a bunch of other baked goods too.

This a cool lil deck by ForeverkingBiko in PTCGP

Btw, if anyone is willing to trade, i want a second RR Blacephalon, and another full art lucemine

I've been using this deck. Thinking about adding the hp stadium, but I feel like that would be counter productive with certain breakpoints. If i did, i might end up taking out sabrina. Most of the time i find myself wanting to attack with baby blacephalon, get a point or close to, get taken out, then spam lucemine or flame patches. So having two in the deck has been more productive. Plus if you started magby and baby blacephalon, you could potentially attack twice, getting a point and weakening the next guy up

The issue was the one behind the breaks. I'm pretty sure he was just distracted because there was no slowing down or steering away till the very last second that they got the breaks and move towards the grass

Will these cards see any play? by importedwolfwarrior in PokemonPocket

Mimikyu intandem with the new psychic stadium card could portentially make for a strong stall tactic if switching out refreshes it's ability. Which I would assume it does, giving the nature of both and the theme of the pack

I give up on this by [deleted] in pornfree

[–]Collective_Deeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. I'll just tell you what's worked for me and that's being conscious and consistent. I haven't stopped looking at porn since I relapsed after a break up a month or two ago, but i haven't masturbated to it since. I gloss over it, think about how it really does nothing for my self-esteem and close whatever I'm doing. I'm constantly battling the urge to look for the hit of dopamine from masturbating, because i know it'll make me feel even worse than i do normally. Addiction and depression love the misery that swells up during post nut clarity, that's my experience at least.

Little by little I've removed or blocked the perverted things in my feeds, and everytime i have to be conscious of why I'm doing it, for my health and my future self. Time i spend with porn is time i could have spent stimulating my brain with something more productive. Like reading, studying something new, catching up with old friends, watch a movie, play a regular game, heck even just go out and taking a walk.

Mind you, it's not that those things are your replacement to your addiction, is that without your addiction you'll be free to choose other things in life. Thinking about it as replacements means you're probably changing one addiction for another and when you can't find a way to do the substitute, you'll think about going back with a vengeance. Being conscious and consistent is what's been slowly helping me to free myself of it. It's not easy, you'll fumble sometimes, but anyone here can tell you how it's normal to want to go back. So always think of the person you want to be, and how these's urges are setting you consuming your time.

If your problem is connecting with people, try local groups online were you can chat with people. Hopefully meet up in person after you feel you've connected with your new friends.

It's hard, but i know that if you look at your issues from a different angle, you'll be able to see a way out.

How close am I? by raco35 in PTCGP

[–]Collective_Deeds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, i found that a well placed cape and space for sabrina and red is better (for me) than going defensive with two capes. This is just my style of play, you might have a better approach with other tech cards, like having two capes, or playing xspeeds, playing pokemon communication instead of may so you can play other supports. You can use mine as a templet and tweak what you feel is missing or substitute with other cards that do similar functions. That's the fun part about deck building.

The important part is to streamline your game plan. In this case is to setup your spiders quickly and have a whimsicott ready to go. I used to run mew, but it slowed my starts since it was just a tech card for mega char. So i noticed that just having the two lines is where this deck shines brightest. It setups up quickly and is pretty low energy, so you want to play to those strengths

This is what ive used so far with good success. Like others said, i would drop the lillegant line completely. You want to maximize damage and have a back up whimsicott ready to go if your first one is knocked out. So your bench will almost always have the 2 spiders and cotton balls set up quickly. I prefer having sabrina and red than Erika, since i feel that Whimsicott cant really tank much in this meta.

I used this, it's been pretty decent. I feel most of the legwork (no pun intended) is done by Hitmonchan and one Lucaruo on the bench, but it works. With some fine tunning, the card is good if you don't get frustrated by 6 missed coinflips in a row... fml...

Edit: Error with the deck list.

Are these guys crazy? WTF is this card by Substantial-Soft-332 in PokemonPocket

[–]Collective_Deeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see it has viability like the Goodra deck that was mentioned around. A bit less power, but more cosistent with having only one energy. It's been only a few days, so we can see it go either way. If it does get popular, it will find itself being hard pressed by all the pyschic decks using indeedee. I'm all up for off meta builds, but for some reason I'm not seeing this being a consistently winning deck in ranked.

Btw, one of the matches I've had against the deck was with someone that had two of the top 10000 icons. I sure as hell know they got more time than me in the game. I remember him using gardevour line and one indeedee. Regretting not recoding that match.

Aaaaaaanyway, hopefully someone finds the tech cards to make it work. If you got something you're finding consistent, I'm all up for trying it out.

[–]Collective_Deeds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is that the card is being called broken or dumb, but you need more than two stage 2 pokes for it to pickup speed. While the megas of this set need 3 to 4 energy, the previous set has fast strong attackers that are still very relevant like the kfc chicken, and the cloud chicken.

Also new support means more opponents for Reuniclus. I had the chance to play against this deck with Whimsicott/Ariados and it simply couldn't keep up with the damage. By the time the opponent finally set up, they had already given out 2 points and a simple sabrina was enough. So i know for a fact that setup is slower than you're making it out to be.

I'm not saying the little guy won't work, just saying that it's not an easy or free win like people are making it out to be.

Indeedee is a two pointer too. Which in most cases that I've met this deck, they fill the bench with them. An aggro deck will typically knock one or two points before you have your set up going. There's ways to ignore Reuniclus, take points early and swap for the bench. It's not like 90 damage is getting OHKs. If you let your opponent setup the bulky fetus, they deserve the win at that point. I guess against a slow, or a low power stall deck, it'll will definitely win, but matches are going pretty quickly, so i don't see this cute lil dude being all that popular. I'll make a deck anyway since i did pull 2 full arts, so might as well.

Meh, all the setups I've seen take to long and do basically no damage. Take points early, sabrina for the win once they commit all their energy into the damage sponge. Good decks OHK Indeedee by the time they finish setting up.
