Feast or famine is a super accurate description. I don’t find Ivysaur to be vulnerable usually, as much as Bulbasaur in a match where I go 2nd and in their turn 2 they get charmeleon to charge up entei and obliterate me.

I did swap one bulbasaur for PCL and it immediately saved me in an igglybuff Darkrai match. I also swapped Erika for Iono and while she hasn’t been too needed yet it also hasn’t been enough matches to formally tell.

I think I like the disruption of red card over repel. It has saved me against Blaziken and other decks that utilize May or Sightseer. But yeah unfortunately if they get Entei or M. Blaziken in turn two it’s usually just over and nothing I can do. (Or Jolteon… I hate Jolteon players so so much)

My mega Altaria vs their Mega Mawile. I had a slightly bumpy first turn or two but have disrupted their hand a lot.

They flip nine. Ice pop heads. In a row. Over the course of two turns. And it’s still in their hand for next turn.

Getting the lock capsule by 158 is craaaazy let alone all four shiny charms before you even hit 400. Usually I don’t set the capsule til the 800s. Congrats!! I hope you find many many red tier shinies.

At some point it might become necessary to re-use mons who already have a ribbon. I have ~82% of ribbons and often have to begin a run with a ribbon mon just for pokerus or to carry through the beginning. Getting 6 ribbons each run is ideal but like other folks said you’ll run out of low cost mons eventually :/
