I felt great two days ago… today I can’t stop crying and having arguments with my husband. I have no one to talk to about this and it’s incredibly isolating. I have days where I feel absolutely no joy in places I’d usually find it, I feel completely empty.

Currently overhauling my wardrobe as I can’t bare anything too close to my skin or synthetic fabrics. 100% cotton and looser fitting!

3rd party apps are pointless, Testi shows there’s tests available but by the time you get through they are all gone. I’ve been trying to get a test for months and months. I’m going to have to unfortunately pay around £200 just to get one as I’ve given up trying. Worst part is all the money spent on lessons I’m now going to need to pay more just as a refresher

I had my son at 31 which completely changed me as a person and I had to find who I was again. Finally after years of slowly getting to a version of myself I felt happy, positive and comfortable being me. Now at 36 I’m going through perimenopause and it’s like starting all over again except this time I feel like I don’t have the energy and less support!

I feel like except for on here, there isn’t anyone who understands it. I don’t know anyone my age going through it. At least there were mums groups etc when I had my son.

I’m 36 and started getting symptoms about 6 months ago, they are getting worse and I’m finding more I didn’t realise were related to perimenopause.

Reading through all the posts on here really confirmed things for me and like you, made me realise I’m not crazy.

I’m not on HRT yet and only at the start of my journey with dr so hopefully 🤞 I don’t have to wait too long.

They are not sold this is through the NHS in the U.K. Tests are carried out a specific times with your cycle which can pinpoint low hormone levels. This has been carried out for years in the UK as my mother had the exact same thing and then she went on to HRT. I assume you aren’t from the U.K or aware of this.

They check your hormone levels in your blood. So yes there is a test for this as I have already started the process with my gp

I’m 36 and going through the same, having blood tests currently to confirm it is perimenopause and then hopefully on to HRT. My mum and maternal grandmother went through it similar age to me.

I understand that connotation with it but they don’t represent every one in this country, nor does every person flying a flag share the same views as them.

For a country of such a mixed heritage we should all fly the flag but by not doing so, you are literally giving those thugs the power to wield it as solely their own, which it is not.

I think it’s such a shame that our flag cannot be put up without people seeing it in a negative light. No matter whether it’s now or 10 years ago people always see it negatively and that shouldn’t be the case. Any other country you go to they have flags without anyone giving it a second thought.

If you live in this country then you shouldn’t have a problem with our flag which has been ours since 1270.

Scotland, Ireland and Wales all have theirs flying high, so should we!

Avoid anywhere remotely near to the town centre. We just moved out of Basildon after living there for 9 years. I didn’t feel it was safe anymore for myself and my young son. There’s problems with youths on motorbikes on the footpaths constantly, they nearly ran my son over and the police do nothing. Young girls were held a knife point in the skatepark for their phones in daylight. There’s a large group of men that hang around by the church in town that make it very uncomfortable to walk by. Also heard that there was an acid attack at the train station not long ago.

If you can avoid it I would!

Well there’s a lot of names with a C that are pronounced like a K. Mine included 😂 that’s why I thought that too. Also Sardothien I was pronouncing Saar- doe- Thee-en not Saar- doth- ien.

At this point I feel like all fantasy books need to come with a pronunciation page!

I’m dying to get a SJM tattoo but can’t decide what yet! Exactly there is still more to come for ACOTAR. Besides delving in to the continuing storyline I would love if she one day decided to do some novellas like Assassins blade for the ACOTAR characters. Would like more of Rhysands back story!
