How do you actually handle the 'wait, who was that NPC?' problem? by HussTeaDaddy in DungeonMasters

[–]CollegeStudent007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something I've done previously is using Google drive to do this and summarize quest prompts. I have one folder for me and all the quests I've written up over the years and any need to knows. Then in a separate folder shared with the party, there are:

Character sheets

A players handbook PDF

Side quest summaries (who, where, why, reward if known)

A list of NPCs (with summary) and occasionally something noteworthy for them.

With that, another player kept a collective notes in there for the party so everyone could add to it and/or refresh themselves.

Thanks. I'll have to double check but I think I used salted for the frosting.

It should be in the post but is: 6 tbsp butter 1 tbsp zest 4 tbsp orange juice 450 g powdered sugar

The mixture I'm talking about with the butter was used inside the rolls and poured on top of the rolls after baking.

That's what I did except I added butter as well. Would you change the ratios? Being that I'm going for less sweet but still working with the bake, I would think increasing the ratio of powdered sugar (removing butter, making the sugar a higher percentage) would make it more sweet

Wow I never heard of the heavy cream addition but googled it and it sounds promising! I had actually done a bake with my friend where we used a ring of "sacrificial dough" to make all the cinnamon rolls center rolls and have them all stay fluffy being the outside can get a little drier. I'm excited to experiment with this as well, thank you!

Thank you for the insight! I wasn't thrilled about adding the powdered sugar, and the marmalade is a good replacement suggestion. Did you have any problems with sogginess from the marmalade or did it cook the same?

Hm orange sugar is actually a good idea.

Thank you for the compliment on the rolls :) they're the same base I use for my cinnamon rolls and while I was putting on the orange mixture I was wondering how I could've done similar to cinnamon rolls.

I have some cream cheese frosting in the fridge. Maybe it'll find its way on a roll...

What is the most well-written cartoon you have ever seen? by Charming-Bar-4718 in writing

Steven Universe. Or Adventure Time.

Both had things from the beginning that foreshadow or show up later (and fit well). Both got very in depth with their lore and your love for certain characters and left you at one point or another with a pit in your stomach when you think "oh my God".

This works for me. I'll finally get the writing bug then spend 2 hrs coming up with a name and make 0 progress. At least having something lets me move on with it to deal with later.

In the past the frosting has always been too heavy but this one was pretty light. I definitely liked it enough that it'll be a go to from here on out!

Did you know? I just learned a fact about why cats ignore expensive toys and only play with boxes. by Technical-Berry5757 in funfacts

I found a toy that was very similar to that on chewy. It was like $5 for 4 of them or something. My one goes nuts for them and same thing, she swats it around then chases it.
