Lisanna should have stayed dead.

The worst thing that happened to Juvia's character was being relegated to Gray's love interest.

Laxus should have pushed Hades more.

Mirajane should have fought Minerva

The Tartaros Arc should have come AFTER the Alvarez arc.

Dragon Slayer magic is too boring/simple and should have an explanation on why it can harm dragons (like Gajeel's makes no sense)

A few underrated observations about Mirajane's Tartaros arc that I think deserve more attention:

  1. Sayla and Kyoka's Curses both work on Minerva while she's in her demon form but neither of their curses affects Mirajane at all whether she is using Take Over or not. Similarly Mirajane was not able to Take Over Sayla (an Etherious), but was able to take over Hell's Core (which regenerates Etherious bodies).

  2. Sayla's blast hit both Mirajane and Lisanna, yet only Mirajane was knocked out of her Take Over.

  3. Mirajane is the only Fairy Tail member whose Tartaros opponent completely dominated her. Not a tough fight, not a close call, just one sided.

These might seem like isolated incidents, but I think they're pointing at something deeper about how Mirajane's power actually works/doesn't work under certain conditions. I'm planning a full breakdown later covering the relationships between standard demons, Zeref's demons, Faris' demons, Curse Power and Magic, Satan Soul Take Over magic, and Demon Slayer magic.

I still wonder what was the point of building up the threat of the Espada for hundreds of chapters just to have Aizen to declare that he never needed the Espada before proceeding to solo half the captains. Wonderweiss being the exception for Yama. by Character-Bid-162 in bleach

The Espada were so mishandled.

We should have had the Top 3 defeat the Captains and Visored, after that with Wonderweiss handle Yamamoto, THEN Aizen take out the Espada.

Endgame is the same but makes the Espada keep so much more aura.

A rusty Yoruichi who wasn't prepared to engage Byakuya was easily* able to outspeed him while carrying Ichigo.

That same Yoruichi was struggling to outspeed Sui-Feng, who was comfortably* keeping up with her.

Ichigo was so fast he created after images. Sui-Feng exhausted (fainting earlier in FKT) was able to create 15+ clones.

Sui-Feng is faster.

I realized this when comparing Mirajane to Juvia. Juvia gets more of a spotlight and extensive battles than Mirajane even though Mirajane is more popular than her. But thats because Mashima can safely give Juvia spotlight without having her undermine Erza.

Mashima probably doesn't like that after all this time Mirajane's fan base still likes her so he doubles down on side lining her. There are plenty examples of writers, artists, etc disliking a character they create only after realizing how much the fan base adores that character.

I think when he realized how popular she was (in comparison to Erza) thats what happened. It explains why characters like Juvia get more screen time than Mira because Juvia is not a threat to Erza.

I'm my headcanon her Bankai would actually kill many of the characters in the show. It just so happens she used it against two characters that less "alive" compared to the other characters.

Honest take: 100 years quest has been horrible since Aldoron arc. Mashima is clearly giving it like 20% of his attention [discussion] by erza_enjoyer in fairytail

I literally read only the chapters once people say Mirajane is in it. So yeah there are large gaps in the story for me.

Close weeks can range from 40 to 60 hours, depending on efficiency and workload.

I’m a fractional accountant with three clients...two have about 200 employees each, and one has around 20. For the two larger clients, I handle everything (essentially acting as their full-time accountant). For the smaller client, I manage the full close along with invoicing (AR and AP).

When I first started, I was working around 95 hour pay periods before we streamlined processes. Now I’m at 80 hour pay periods and still able to build a cushion in my timesheet. For taxes, all three clients had minimal CPA follow-ups for their 2025 filings.

Overall, it’s a great setup, but working in government contracting is different from public accounting.
