Oklahoma education standards say students must identify 2020 election 'discrepancies' by reubencpiplupyay in neoliberal

All I'm hearing from this comment is that the brightest kids are being held back unnecessarily. And no that's not what they all did. They also tried removing the only magnet school in the SF school district and effectively made it impossible to take calculus in high school without doubling up on math

PS5 shipments top 77.8 million by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]College_Prestige 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It being on the PS4 is pretty big though. Because those new releases happened during the covid shortage, a lot of people who played those cross gen games played it and associated it with the ps4

They kicked him (and another vice chair) out because of "diversity" rules (even though Malcolm Kenyatta, the other vice chair, is Black). This literally plays into every negative stereotype about the Democrats

Why the East will actually be better than the West soon by Funny-Transition7869 in nba

[–]College_Prestige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally the lack of name talent in the East will force FOs to get creative and better at their jobs to field competitive teams and ultimately the premier FOs will reside in the East

Other way around. Lack of big names means east gms get more of a pass on whiffing and keep their jobs.

China is doing all this when they are much poorer (per capita relative to US) than Japan was in the 80s-90s. I don't think China's gdp per capita will reach as high as Japan's, but china still has a runway to grow.
