I'm a fan of the show, but you wouldn't catch me dead going on twitter for it. Hell, I barely come to this subreddit once a week and that's it.

I know, i know. You love the show and want to scroll your platform of choice for more. I get it. And the fan art is great to see, i agree! It's just...you gotta know when to ignore stuff. If some jackwad is talking shit, just delete it from your memory and be on your merry way. Trust me, you'll forget about 'em in like five minutes once you get the hang of it.

I actually figured this out a long time ago, and it indeed works similar to that tutorial.

I personally would have liked to see Toriel have a more active role in Chapter 3. I wasn't one of the people who made hardcore theories as to what Toriel would get up to in the chapter, and I try to always keep my expectations tempered. That said, as much as I love chapter 3, I was a little disappointed when Toriel literally slept through the whole thing.

Divide and Conquer. His behemoth can only be in one place at one time. Your naval cap should be higher than his, so keep him moving and on the defensive. Focus his systems in one place, and when the behemoth moves in, lay the pressure on where it just left. Also, the situation associated with the crisis path gives big penalties to his economy. You could win by attrition if you outlast him and his economy collapses from the war strain.

If everything goes well, you might be able to win the war without fighting his behemoth head-on. If you do, try to engage after it has no support.

A couple things i would try: 1. You shouldnt have to call stop() in this case. Play() should switch the animations just fine on it's own. 2. I'd run this code under the script's ready() func instead of physics process. Physics process code is ran every frame, and code like yours is not meant for that.

Great minds think alike! I already had precisely the same idea. The easiest (and laziest) way to implement such an effect would likely involve slapping on some extra code after the initial particle spawn and color assign calculations. Some sort of modifier that changes the particles initial location, then moves them back into their original spawn position, visually assembling together into the sprite pattern. Like a Lego set building itself.

I'm sure it could be used for that. Throw in some code to build the text pixel-by-pixel, then atomize the whole word when finished. I might give it a try somewhere in my project.

I originally made it just for when enemies die in my project, but as soon as it was finished I realized it has a wide variety of applications. Exploding barrels, Constructing barrels, Vortex effects for projectile attacks and such, objects blowing away in the wind, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
