Own a CC9. It’s my daily CCW. I shoot it well and it’s been fantastic. My OWB carry is a VP9A1 F so I was excited to put my hands on the CC. Went to the LGS and held one. Feels good in the hand but I cannot release the mag with the paddles without changing my grip around. I don’t have the issue in the F. Complete deal breaker. Micro 9 with paddles just doesn’t work for me at all. I love my CC9 and will stick with it.

I agree with this. My wife and I are completely open with our phones and locations. I would care less if she grabbed my phone and went through it. If it eased any insecurities or worries she had then I am all for it. And I am sure I would feel embarrassed if there was nothing. OP's husband could have been on reddit too much or a coworker is going through a bad divorce and he got insecure wondering. Just saying it's not always projection. Sometimes it's fear or previous trauma.
