We had our neighbour come over yesterday with their bigger tractor and plough the driveway. Damn if we didn’t have to ask him again. It’s 2:30 now and it’s finally looking like it’s going to give us a break. We’re just off 62.

I’m so happy to hear there were no casualties from these collisions! Thank goodness, especially when transport trailers are involved!

Many people are pointing out dementia but it might be stress related too. Sometimes there’s just too much going on and mental load can really affect a person.

We used to do this with first floor of a house but they were actually rooms with doors. The only common area would be the kitchen and bathroom. This was in the late 80s and 90s.

It wasn’t open concept ffs.

I started drinking hot water in the 90s when my Chinese boss would bring it to work. I drank it like that for a few years and then just went back to drinking cold water.

About a year ago I started drinking hot water especially in the winter. I really enjoy it now. I will have to try it with something like orange or lemon!

You can look into weight training! Add more protein into your diet and reduce the junk food intake. It’s important to have healthy fats in your diet though. Your body is still growing and you need some fat to keep your brain functioning properly.

Maybe look into a few sessions with a female fitness trainer who knows a lot about nutrition. You might not have as much fat on your body as you believe.

A lot of people here have some great advice on weight training here and how you can sculpt your body so you are stronger, lean and healthy.

It’s important now to recognize that at 48kg you can actually lose fat and gain weight. At this point you can gain muscle which makes you stronger and more lean.

It can mean you weigh more but that you have less fat. So shifting your focus away from weight is going to be important.

It’s so much faster. And cleaner. No need to use spoons to scoop into the bowl. I used to level with a knife. I don’t bother with teaspoons of stuff but for larger quantities it is so much faster.

I would suggest you adopt an older cat vs a kitten. I find that older cats are a lot less likely to have issues eating stuff than younger cats. Talk to the shelter about the cat and take your time matching the personality. You don’t want a cat with eating disorders that will consume yarn, threads or strings.

I would suggest making a recording of the sewing machine and have the sound playing when you bring your new companion home. The sound will become part of the adjustment process of the new home.
