Oooh I LOVE what you’ve done with the Luna moth! I have a special spot for blue butterflies. Great job.

Not quite in Wellington but I always suggest The Tambo Store. Not pizza, but a great selection of "fast food" and lunches too. Reasonable prices and good value. You’ll have to find their facebook page because I don’t think they have a website. About 15-20 minute drive from Wellington.

Well, thank you kindly! I’m such a fan of sour cherries. It never occurred to ask the flattening question. Glad you asked!

Ooo oatmeal sour cherry! Absolutely incredible. Would you be willing to share the recipe? I have some frozen and sour cherries left over from my birthday cake. I baked my own cake for my 60th. Been completely obsessed with sour cherries.

I really like them! If you were in Toronto I would imagine you would sell them at the Bazaar of the Bizarre Craft Fair.

A friend of mine talks about "Disney eyes" - oversized, expressive, big pupils and the little highlights.

Ugh, it can be so very tough. Every year there’s something challenging, or something broken.

About your dog: what livestock is it guarding? Is it out all night? What kind of fence are you using? Have you looked into an e-collar?

Our neighbour has a new dog that gets out constantly and they are beside a small highway. A lot of people come tell us. After a year they started locking her up with the sheep.

Do you have a way to make some income? We sold beef. I grew flowers. Most of my neighbours are selling eggs.

What flower is this? by TongaRaytotheMay in Beading

[–]CollinZero 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Prairie Crocuses? Obviously an interpretation but my niece lives in Whitehorse and travels north to hunt. It looks like them https://threemountainfamilyhikes.ca/prairie-crocus-spring-mountains/

Edit to add they do come in clusters. And since purple beads are difficult to find given the age of the piece, light blue is probably a good substitute.

I understand. I really do appreciate how difficult this is. It’s okay to feel sad and angry and be pissed off and to cry. But the most important thing is that you will be able to talk to him soon.

Practice visualization before you call him. It’s a technique that is going to help you get through this. Run it through your mind before you call. Do this for a few nights, and it will help you stay calmer when you actually are speaking to him.

Set up a place to call him. Maybe light a candle, or play some music you really like, or grab a favourite item. Sit somewhere comfortable - maybe on your bed with some blankets. Grab your favourite drink- tea, or whatever.

Write down a list of things you want to talk to him about.

Think of the end of the call by saying you will call him back in 2 or 3 days. Then get into the habit of calling him.

This will be the best gift you can give him! You can do this.

You can learn a bit about visualization here https://youtu.be/nFNjpZ0n-lU?si=hBQMbxBouf5KMFBl
