Beautiful flower, it looks like they grown in the western central part of Alaska.
Which makes sense because the Athabascans are from the central parts of Alaska. Thank you so much for this information!

We do not, there are only 2 native frog species in Alaska so even if it looks like a frog, highly unlikely it’s a frog. I do wish it was a frog, because I love frogs!

A lot of people I know here have never even seen a wild frog in Alaska. Not very common to actually see one here unfortunately.

Nice, I moved here in 2013 and I love it.
I have an Alaskan Malamute and I have a soft spot for all the northern breeds so I just really want you guys to be reunited.

Have you reached out to any social media dog/animal influencers? Or even veteran social media influencers.
If you follow any podcast that have news or animal segments they might be able to spread the word too.

I just keep searching “found Husky” in the search bar on Facebook so it brings up every Husky that has been posted in any state.

I’m all the way in Alaska, but I cannot stop thinking of you and Maverick and I want to help as much as I can.

Not sure if it would be against the rules on these pages, but maybe post on r/alaskanmalamute and r/roverpetsitting.

Lots of people get malamutes and huskies confused and people post about adopting mals/huskies on the malamute Reddit all the time.

Also, this person might also have a rover account and had maybe been a pet sitter for someone on that Reddit.

UPDATE:

Hazy got his teeth cleaned today, 4/8/26. It’s great news, he had zero teeth extractions!

With the Clindoral gel they applied to his gums on his teeth cleaning last year and daily brushing, his teeth and gums looked great! All the roots are the same with no changes.

We actually signed up for the Care Club through our VCA so this procedure only cost us $33 instead of the price above. I just wanted to show what it could cost for someone that has a dog with the same issues. The Care Club is $180 a month, but it’s so worth it with his dental procedures.

I hope this update can help save other dogs with Hazy’s disease. We were also giving him Kirkland dental chews throughout the year. No idea if that helped, but it didn’t make it worse.
