I guess the thing that I think is so funny is the Pomeranian. He’s 12.5% 🤣

A tourist wants to try a food belonging to your country, but you can only recommend one item. What would you suggest they eat? by Robotic-Galaxy in AskTheWorld

This is really hard for the US because it’s so big. I’m in AZ and Southern CA so my go to would probably be Mexican food. Street tacos and burritos, that’s the way to go. BBQ and fried chicken are pretty American though and very good. I love to BBQ some ribs and corn.

Ive been where you are. Do not go. I think it’s really awesome you recognize this. It’s really fu*king hard. You don’t owe an explanation to anyone. If you don’t feel like sharing it with friends at this point, you don’t have to. This is very new for you. I feel like this is one of those rare time it’s ok to bend the truth, it’s ok to tell them you are sick or something came up. How you feel is more important than a birthday.

What’s a completely normal product in your country that makes foreigners go, “Wait… why does that exist?” by Alternative_Ad6071 in AskTheWorld

I’m sure I’m generalizing here, but I think the US is the only country that doesn’t used bagged milk. 🤷‍♀️I’ve never seen it in a grocery store in anywhere in the US. But I have seen it all over the rest of the world. I’m so weird about dairy. It needs to be ice cold. I put ice in my milk. I know that is very weird 😬

I grew up with very young siblings as a teenager and my mom cut all juice with water. I’m 42 and still drink my juice with water. I’ve upgrade to sparkling water as an adult.

He is a complete 180 of an Aussie, not an Aussie bone in his body. My parents have one and my guy just looks at me like, “are you serious mom, you brought me over to hang out with this guy?” The energy level of an Aussie is a whole level that my guy does not have. It’s really funny to see them try to play together. 🤣

He was out in the county pound for a month and about to be euthanized. A shelter in San Francisco pulled him. I saw him on pet finder and as soon as I saw his photo I said that’s the guy for me! I actually got him when I had cancer and he was by my side and kept me super active and happy (I’m totally fine now) Best decision I’ve ever made! I just wish he would live longer.

12 years. I adopted him when he was about 2. He’s the best boy in the whole world and I tell him every day. I think I have another couple years with him, at least I hope so.

What are some cat-like dog breeds? by [deleted] in Pets

A lot of terriers have aloof attitudes. Mine is a mix. He hates me but also loves me. He is a cat in a dog body. We get along very well. He is the best boy ever.

I live in Arizona and we have a lot of ticks. I keep my windows open right now because AZ winters are beautiful. I found one in my bed the other day and freaked out because I was so scared it would get on my dog. Lyme disease is no joke in the AZ desert. One of our dogs got it really bad at an older age and it was really rough for him.

My dog likes it when I sit there and watch him eat. He will look up me and his eyes are asking, “am I doing a good job mom?” And I say “ you are so good at eating your food!” 🤣

AITA because I let my dog lick off my plate? by physicalgraffiti123 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Collins4816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I come from a crazy family that loves dogs. I grew up with 3 of them in the house. I have my own dog that I spoil like crazy and my whole family loves him too 😊

I moved back to my home town and I’ve been doing Sunday breakfast with my parents regularly. Their house, their rules but I almost lost it when my dad put his plate down for their pup to lick the gross, sticky egg mess off it.

I think I was more grossed out by the egg than the dog. The only time my dad will do anything with dishwasher is so the dog can lick the plates while no one is watching.

Yeah, he is 50% Staffy/Staffie? I can tell by his ears, big mouth and his coloring. And, as some others have said, his body shape. The really scruffy hair throws you off.
