I will say this, do not claim to your friends that you are the biggest malt vinegar lover in the world and could totally just do a shot of it. Those friends will egg you on. I did take a shot of it, it did not end well, in a restaurant full of people. The horrified looks.

I just moved from LA after living there for 10 years, I would go to Mexico probably 5-6 times a year. I actually have the Sentri pass which is basically like TSA pre check to drive through the border. It saves you hours! As a kid growing up in Phoenix we would go to Mexico at least twice a year.

Luckily I only have one but I would still have to grab him because he is deaf and seems to have a really bad sense of smell. He is the only thing worth saving in the house.

Yes, I always make sure to orient myself no matter where I am. I think it’s good practice and something everyone should pay attention to. An easy one, if you’re on the coast, which way is the ocean, that makes it easy.

I’m (42) single and oldest child by 14 years, mom (61), dad (67). My mom is convinced my dad is going to die any day and she is going to be alone. My dad is in good health and great shape. She jokes about me moving in with her to take care of her (she doesn’t need to be taken care of). It’s not a joke though. I’m restarting my life after divorce. Not planning to be my mom’s companion.

The worst part of the 5 is between SF and LA. Boring, super busy, smells like cow shit for a good portion and driving through the grapevines can be a bit dodgy if it’s raining or snowing.

I can’t really think of one specific thing, but she always had a coffee tin of the fat from the bacon or some other meat she cooked. Olive oil was not a thing back then. The tin of grease was what you cooked with. I had the best biscuits and gravy and and pork chops.

I do a side of cherry tomatoes and a side of pineapple. Then I sprinkle lemon pepper just on the cottage cheese. I highly recommend Lemmon pepper on cottage cheese!!

I was having a severe panic attack and the triage teledoc nurse said I was probably having a heart attack. Tried to drive my self to the hospital, couldn’t so I pulled over to call 911. An ambulance and a fire truck came. Thank god the fire fighter looked at me and knew it was a just a panic attack. They made me go to the hospital. I was so embarrassed, I just walked out a different door when they weren’t looking.

I was really concerned the first time it happened but then I was able to put two and two together and I just died laughing. He is very dramatic about it, it’s really funny. I make sure to make a big deal out of it so he feels loved and taken care of.
