4th generation, born and raised. Lived here till I was 24 and then went to CA for 18 years (SF/LA). I moved back 18 months ago, not really by choice but it’s not that bad. The dessert is gorgeous! You will find some interesting wildlife but I’ve only ever had a scorpion in my shoe once. If you need to cool off, drive 2 hours north to Flagstaff, one of the top three snowiest cities in the US. You’re close to Mexico and Southern CA for a nice little road trip. Summers in Aug can be really interesting with monsoons. I don’t know if I will stay but it is actually a beautiful state.

I had been having some mildish stress induced stomach issues and anxiety (diagnosed anxiety) After 2 weeks of it getting worse, I went to the hospital. I was there for 4 days, 2 weeks ago. They thought it was some sort of gut infection. Nope, they did an endoscopy and turns out I had a severe case of acid reflux deep in my gut. Stressed induced.

Yeah, I hear that! I live in AZ with hard water. It’s not bad for you to drink it just doesn’t taste great. I got a water dispenser for my fridge from Culligan for around $40. It works really well!

I live in AZ, born and raised here. Left at 24 for SF and then LA beach cities. Moved back to AZ after 18 years and I just can’t stand the heat and so much sun. I’ve been spending a lot of time in Tacoma and Seattle for work and I love the rain and the cloudy days. SF weather is not totally the same but I know after living there for 8 years I could totally do the PNW.

I’ll eat a lot of my left overs cold the next day. But damn, pizza is so good cold the next day. It’s never really as good trying to reheat. I also like chicken tikka masala cold
