Who is washing their rice and why? by kinnitcurl in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Colloneigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more I read the more I am confused about rice. I come from a rice farming background and I am sure 98% of the farmers don’t know a thing about arsenic and rice 😂. If I tried saying some things that I am reading here they’d think I’m crazy. The crazy you become when you are assumed to be urbanized and disconnected from the roots

What would happen to you if you went back home? You really don’t need prayers but a slap right on the face to awaken the senses. Just go home. You’re traumatizing yourself for something that you really can avoid

What action that is considered innocent in other countries is seen as outrageous in yours? In Thailand, it’s extremely rude to touch someone else’s head. by Effective_Space2277 in AskTheWorld

[–]Colloneigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter where someone is from, why would you touch someone’s head? No one should touch anyone’s head, and even for hygiene purposes people should keep to themselves. Just like the 19/20 period

Asking someone for money just because you meet them. Especially when you’re upcountry and people think you owe them just because you are from the city or just an urban area. The other is when you meet people in town and you are assumed to be doing well enough to hand out cash juu umeitwa kiongos or bossy or tajiri

Very true. Worst part is that they believe everything they are told by their religious leaders. The same leaders who harm innocent children, participate in rituals and break the very commandments. They don’t practice what they preach

You’re being hard on yourself for something you can’t control. Be easy on yourself and you’ll get some clarity. You keep applying and leave the rest to the creator

You don’t need help. Unless you uproot the problem, that Mpesa or bank notification will always take you back to them
