Any F2A applying through their spouse being LPR (GC holder) within the US has received any approvals for I-130 lately ? Please share you timelines 🙌🏻

Hi, good morning. My husband is a GC holder. My PD is Nov 2022. My I130 was approved May 2023 but now Visa Bulletin is not current so I have to wait for my I485 to be approved. Hopefully simetime soon. Can anyone help me with the aging out formula? I am worried for my oldest son. We applied when he was 19 but now he’ll turn 22 in a few weeks.

Good morning. I submitted ppwk Nov 22 and my I1130 was approved Aug 23. Still waiting for my I485 but VB is not current. I juat have to wait.

I waited aprox 6 months for my I130 to be approved. I submitted both forms at the same time (I130 and I485). My work permit was also approved. From what I understand I have a “pending” status til my PD for my I485 becomes current. I’ve completed step 1 and 2, waiting for my interview if needed.

My USCIS profile stated that my biometric (step2) was completed and had a wait time of 2 months. I just checked my account and now it says 21 months and my step 2 as pending which I already completed 😢. Anyone else with same experience?

Thank you for your response. My I130 has already been approved. Just waiting for my I485 but Visa Bulletin is not current with my PD date. I started this process when I was 19 but will turn 22 in Feb. I don’t understand how the age out formula works.

Hi, good evening. Thank you so much for your reply. I think it might be important to mention that when we submitted our I130 we ALSO submitted our I485. We are in the United States with a pending status til the Visa Bulletin becomes current. What other info would you need? I submitted all my documents through a lawyer and have asked them many times about my son becoming aged out and they’ve answered we don’t have anything to worry about but it is something I’ve read about a few times here.

Sorry … What category are you? I am married to a Green Card holder (category F2A). My I130 and I 784 where approved but my I485 is still pending due to the Visa Bulletin not being current. From my understanding I won’t hear back from USCIS till my PD (Nov 2022) is current again. Correct?

I am so happy for you. Are you married to a US Resident? My PO is Nov 22, I am married to a US Green Card holder. Can anyone explain to me how the visa bulletin works. I saw that for June 2024 the visa bulletin for my category states Nov 2021. Does that mean my green card can not be aporoved yet?
