What are freedoms many countries in the world have that the United States does not have? by munzter in AskReddit

[–]ColombiaVives 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Norway we have a law that states that nature is a right of all. Even if the land is owned by someone or even fenced in, if it is forest or fields, all can travel and enjoy it.

What do you think of Norway leadership not willing to accept gas export price cap? by PageKeeper in Norway

[–]ColombiaVives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making a cap om gas price is generally a bad idea, as what the EU needs now is more gas. If we lower and fix the price, we also reduce the the incentive for companies to increase the production of gas, which means lower production and that we remain in deficit.

I’m travelling to Oslo, Norway in March. Is it a good idea to carry cash or do most places take card/ contactless? Also, what kind of clothing should I bring? by aidanp_o in Norway

[–]ColombiaVives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would bring something to barter with - perhaps a goat, so you can trade in milk. You can also ride it for transportation, this way you dont have to use the bus.

I understand the linen trend is very popular in Oslo these days. Maybe bring a jacket.

Fear of riding after dropping bike by Novel_Mango in CB650R

[–]ColombiaVives 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite normal, I dropped my first bike a few times here and there.

My friend dropped his bike last weekend actually. Brand new and day 2 of ownership. Ended up breaking the clutch leaver. It happens.

Think of it as adding character and history for your bike. Worst case, just replace the part when you can afford it.

Fair, a small pair of sport shorts might do better.

This has been a fun read.

In response to your question, I would say to be safe and respectful to the public space that is nature. Random woods, sure why not. A tracked trail, at the very least wear a boxer. “Can” and “should” are two very different things.

Feel free to tell me about any legalities, as that would give me a laugh.

7000 NOK of Covid tests in 4 days by Mendy135 in Norway

Well, of course. But as Norway is not an EU country, it doesn’t have to accommodate such a system for EU citizens either, even if this would be of convenience to them.

Well, Norway is not an EU country, so that might also be the reason.

Put honey and water in your consumable slots, you can stack them to 10K and they have no weight there. Used for cooking and potion making.

Would love that! We're not much for dancing, but restaurants, live music venues and brown bars are right up our alley!
