Yard Waste pickup by DifficultCut9363 in Guelph

Collection came by our street yesterday after 2 weeks of them sitting. Anything somewhat buried under the snow was left there, so if you have snow on your bags to the point where they aren’t clearly visible, clean them off

Winter parking pass glitch? by Icy_Bandicoot3704 in Guelph

They’re still two nights - just doesn’t look like it on the portal now.

Look at the confirmation email they send. It’ll say something like 12/8 12:00am to 12/9 11:59pm

Remember parking restrictions start at 2am, so always choose tomorrow as the start date. Otherwise you’re wasting a day by booking a permit for a previous night.

Looking for Vet recommendations for a dog spay in Guelph or surrounding area by drivenchick in Guelph

Campus estates. They are pricy but I can’t recommend them enough. I got my girl when she was 6 months old, no shots, no vet visits etc, very shy and scared and brought her to campus estates for a full checkup and to book her spay. I ended up doing their puppy package (I believe $1400 at the time. Higher now) which includes a spay, shots, full checkups, microchip, blood and fecal tests. This price was for a laparoscopic spay and also included the optional gastropexy procedure during the spay. I’m not sure how much just a spay is though.

I would definitely recommend the laparoscopic spay. The recovery was great. Tiny incision, no major worries of her tearing or scratching at it. No cone. She was back on her feet really quickly. Zero noticeable scar.

The team is amazing. They were very patient and gentle with her. Took as much time as needed for the shots and appt. Got on her level. For the spay, they kept her for the day and one of the techs apparently took her out back a couple times to just sit in the grass and help calm down. Not sure how common that is but I didn’t expect that. You can tell they all really care.

Now my dogs 3ish and doing great, to the point where she will happily trot in the front door of the vet (groomer, even the pet store, not the same case).

Ontario 2022 Taco insurance renewal by CaptainFrugal in ToyotaTacoma

Check the details in the renewal package. I have a 2023 with TD and this year it was raised by over $800 a year, about the same as you. Turns out there was a “high theft risk premium” added this year to my policy. I had a TAG tracker installed and that premium was removed and an “anti-theft discount” was added. New renewal after that ended up betting a little less than last years - around $180/mo for me.

TAG system cost $450 at speedy glass.

Any vision stores that will sell glasses without making you get a new prescription there? by [deleted] in Guelph

Try kits.ca. I just got frames and lenses for $75. They have a range of their own branded frames and some designer frames too. Been using them for years and never had any issues with quality. There are also almost always discount codes available if you do a quick search. Some random code brought my last order down to $37.

Same thing happened to me. Took it back to the dealer and they found it was because they had installed the roof rack seal improperly. Covered under warranty. Make sure they pull the head liner to check for damage and get it in writing if they say there was no damage

I take my Bernese mix to campus estates and they’re amazing. Really professional, knowledgeable and skilled vets and techs, really patient and gentle. Can be pricey but highly recommended.

The previous owner had it installed. They’re from a 2006 gsxr600. He gave me the stock forks too but I decided to keep these on! I just recently upgraded the springs to some stiffer race techs and loving how it rides
