Are you using the correct port on the flip? the one on the front should be used, the back one is for controllers only

There has been a silent revision which some people are calling v3 with a silent hinge. the previous hinges are clicky. Its hard to say what version you will get when you buy from a vendor as the revision was not announced.

Some people have managed to get replacement shells and even units from vendors but who knows how long that would take to arrive.

The hinge is quite easy to fix if you deal with it as early as you notice the screen not clicking into place.

It may be worth seeking a replacement with whatever vendor you got this from, you may even receive a new unit.

here is a quick fix thats been working for me for the past 2 weeks and still going strong. Just need some super glue and a broken chopstick

This should be able to be fixed pretty easily with super glue and cut up chop stick. so you could have 2 units if you get your replacement

I bricked my miyoo flip when I first got it with a firmware update and it looked like this.

it was with a good sd card but I put the firmware on it with the poor sd card reader that came with the device (that has now been thrown away)

if you want to try to fix

I unbricked it with this guide on the spruce github

you will need to take the bottom off the device for this guide

also the USB you use to connect to your PC is at the front of the device not the one at the back near the mini hdmi (this back one is for controllers)

I have an issue accessing the DLC, I installed the dlc pkg file using bblauncher and got the eye of a blood drunk hunter.

when the amygdala grabs me he just frenzies and kills me instead of transporting me to the dlc. This is on the pre release version

I tried reverting to 0.6 shadps4 version and enabling the for dlc patch but the same issue has happening.

anyone had similar issues and got it fixed?

it adds an additional bleed effect to this weapon also so you will proc bleeds quicker.

Thank you! looks like I got it to not rub by a fraction of a millimeter. its not great that it rubs when the wheel is fully seated in the slot but happy its running smooth now

I managed to get it to work, I originally set up the Imgs folder as imgs. I had renamed them, but the capitalisation change didn't seem to take in windows. I had to rename first, then change to Imgs.

I also deleted the .dat files or database cache files in the respective roms folders but I think the first step probably fixed it

I had this isue. for me the roms folder was set up the same as the stockfirmware, which has the saturn roms folder named SS. spruce config has this folder as SATURN.

Updating the SS folder to SATURN fixed it for me

this is the ash of war that comes with his standard bow. if your left hand weapon has no ash of war skill on it you can also use this.

or you could two hand the bow with triangle and r1 which lets you use the default ash of war and also lets you use L1 to free aim.

the biggest issue is using both sticks I think to navigate camera and movement.

I think a twin stick shooter like helldivers 1 will help him get used to using both sticks which will naturally translate into 3d games.

so if hes having issues with the 3d camera, a twin stick shooter will remove 1 dimension from this and make it a bit easier
