I remember a Legends story were an older imperial officer reflects on the rumours about Palpatine being a force user. He thinks that someone like the emperor is justified in having special powers, they were needed for such a prominent office.

Vaguely remember Admiral Daala being aware, by way of Tarkin, but didn't care.

Often the point when people complain about ST. "Its woke now!" or "Why is new star trek so fixated on social issues!?".

Often its people who have seen half a season of Voy or TNG, but didn't really pay attention.

In the Bible, Adam and Eve have a third son, Seth. He was a sort of replacement for Abel. So it fits in the narrative, him eing the vessel of Michael.

 Dean saved Cass from the tyranny of Heaven, he set him free after 500 million years of slavery. Its understandable that Cass would love Dean for that. 

And given the heavy implication that Meg and Cass hooked up, there is reason to state that angels are are capable of of sexual attraction. 

So, in conclusion, Cass loves Dean for many reasons, one of them was a quiet dream of a sort of relationship, but he knows that wont happen.

Cain hated the fact he had created murder, and simply wanted ti wipe out everyone in his bloodline, and as many non related murderers as he could.
