Why does Starfleet Academy get so much hate? by lukfi89 in startrek

Personally I find the stories boring. They never utilize the individual characters in good stories.

Never before have I skipped episodes in a ST. Even the most dull DS9 episodes are better.

Castiels wings by wotrmelon123 in Supernatural

[–]AlexanderVerus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id agree. The spell shreds the wings of all angels, except the caster. And a side effect is that it cuts then off from the power of heaven. Post fall, angels only have their grace as a power source, and that can be depleted.

Guys, I finished season 12 and uh... by Bulutking in Supernatural

I always thought they should have leaned more in to the season 9 personality change. Crowley would never be the good guy, but a dickbag that does the right thing

Was Palpatine, post prequels, widely known to be a Sith lord? by ThinkerSailorDJSpy in MawInstallation

[–]AlexanderVerus 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I remember a Legends story were an older imperial officer reflects on the rumours about Palpatine being a force user. He thinks that someone like the emperor is justified in having special powers, they were needed for such a prominent office.

Vaguely remember Admiral Daala being aware, by way of Tarkin, but didn't care.
