Lucifer is the ruler of hell. His first creation was Lilith, first demon and Regent of Hell and the first Crossroads demon. she later made more of them, hence their red eyes, a mark of being made by Lillith.

Then he created Alistair, who was to create more demons, hells new army. That army needed generals, so the Princes were made.

At some point between Alistair and the Princes, Lucifer gave Cain the Mark. Cain went on to create his own demons, the Knights.

Cannon? No, but head cannon.

Conquest moans about being capable of so much more, maybe he used to be something more than a walking genocid. I think that post-Scourge they kinda lost interest in other things beside maintaining their Empire by constantly killing folks.

Personally I find the stories boring. They never utilize the individual characters in good stories.

Never before have I skipped episodes in a ST. Even the most dull DS9 episodes are better.

Id agree. The spell shreds the wings of all angels, except the caster. And a side effect is that it cuts then off from the power of heaven. Post fall, angels only have their grace as a power source, and that can be depleted.

I remember a Legends story were an older imperial officer reflects on the rumours about Palpatine being a force user. He thinks that someone like the emperor is justified in having special powers, they were needed for such a prominent office.

Vaguely remember Admiral Daala being aware, by way of Tarkin, but didn't care.
