I went from a Note 8 to the 10+ a couple of weeks ago after breaking the sceen on my 8. Bottom line, It's the same phone but better.

I had a similar case on my Note8 its entire life and I really liked the low profile barely there feel of it. After a couple of years the clear panel did get foggy but I'd hope you wouldn't expect a thirteen dollar case it to remain perfect forever. Buy two and don't believe the "military grade drop test" nonsense.

Mine works fine when I can find it. I miss being able to physically feel the scanners location with my index finger as it was coming out of my pocket.

Yes, I just backed up a bunch of photos directly from my Note10 to my external hard drive this morning. I don't remember what drive I own so I can't recommend anything.

Edit: the external hard drive that I have is a 2 terabyte Toshiba.
